Our waitress was very friendly and efficient. Our sandwiches were very good but I happen to like mustard with my burger. I asked for mustard and was quite surprised to be charged for it. I love burgers and have always asked for mustard on the side but this is the first time I was charged for it. You would think that a place like this would not charge for a small tin cup of mustard with an order of a hamburger sandwich.

We were promptly seated with our reservations and although they were busy, there was the right amount of service. The wife's egg benedict was nicely done and my fish and chips was almost perfect, except for the numerous small pieces of chips. Our three friend's told us their meals were very good. All in all, the plates were well presented in a nice place with a great view overlooking the golf course.

The restaurant is located in Mayfair Gulf & country club , one of the top ten gulf course in Vancouver . just finished a lovely round of gulf with my brother , so we dropped in to there patio restaurant for a bite and relax very space patio , excellent social distance guideline , I believe they have 18 patio tablets around , Happy hours menu very limited , but the all day menu very nice , lot of choices , price very reasonable , great place for hang out , not very busy and not noise at all , we order the chicken wing to share ,my brothers Club House is so big , enough for two to share , love the crispy bacon , and my Chicken Parmesan very flavourful , ,but little too much parmesan , other wise ,every thing great , we never feel rush at all , staff vert friendly , great comfortable place .to catch up the good old days .

The restaurant at Mayfair Lakes is in a beautiful setting with a great view of the golf course with the mountains in the background. We had dinner on the patio on Friday evening. It was a nice sunny day and the patio is a great place to relax and have a nice meal. The patio was very busy. During the summer months they have live entertainment from 4:00 – 7:00 on Fridays. The singer/ guitar player Wes was very good and we enjoyed the live music during our meal. He played a good selection of songs and has a very good voice. It was nice background music and not overly loud. The service was decent considering how busy the patio was. We did have a long wait for our dessert though. We shared a couple of wine flights. They were $17.00 for 3 3 oz. pours and they had some decent wines to choose from. We shared an appetizer of garlic shrimp with garlic bread. It was very good. For entrees I had pork schnitzel that was supposed to be in a creamy mushroom demi glaze with potatoes and red cabbage. This was probably a poor choice because I had wiener schnitzel the previous week at a very good German restaurant. The creamy mushroom demi glaze was more like a brown gravy with just 1 small slice of mushroom. The schnitzel itself although generous in size was very dry and not very good. My husband had chicken parmesan served with linguine with sautéed spinach, tomatoes and garlic. His entrée was better than mine. For dessert we shared an apple pie with ice cream. The food although reasonably priced was just okay. Portions are a decent size. It is a beautiful setting, the live music was a lovely way to relax and enjoy a nice evening. It’s too bad the food did not live up to our expectations.

Beautiful setting. Great food and good service. We provided a list of each person's dinner preference including appetizers and all was delivered smoothly.

Based on the other 8 reviews, we weren't sure what to expect, but then we noted that the two one-star reviews were by members of the same family, for the same date. We went for lunch, and found a large and well-appointed dining room with huge windows, and panoramic views across the golf course to the mountains beyond. We were welcomed, seated immediately, and chose a Cobb Salad and a Chicken-Shrimp Clubhouse from the extensive and varied menu. The sandwich was loaded with shrimp, the accompanying soup was excellent, and the Cobb Salad was huge, with fresh and varied greens, lots of avocado and tomatoes, a generous amount of blue cheese, and lots of chicken and bacon. It would have been plenty for two. Service was friendly and attentive, and when we left, it was obvious that they appreciated our business. We will return!

My husband and I went there for lunch yesterday. The food was amazing. I had the pad thai and he had the teriyaki bowl. Mine was very good. Came with prawns and chicken. My husband's lunch looked great and he quite enjoyed it. Nice view of the golf course as well. Looking forward to going back.

My wife and I stopped in to enjoy a couple of drinks and snacks in the afternoon on the sunny patio. Service was great (thanks Koel!) as were the happy hour specials. The food was very tasty and high quality, but the ahi tuna salad was a bit on the spicy side.

Eight of us went for a lunch here. The menu was extensive enough to interest most tastes. I had the Pork Schnitzel. It was OK, but there was a lot of it. 2 pieces of Schnitzel, with potatoes and vegetables makes for balanced meal, but for maybe two of me. Otherwise the room was busy, but the servers pleasant and accommodating. We had a great time taking a break from the office while we ate and talk some business.

Terrible service. The waitress could not have been less pleasant and unfriendly. Food was mediocre and expensive. Poor quality and served cold. We had a group of 14 but there were only a few other tables of people and no excuse the poor service. The beautiful location didn't make up for the unpleasant experience. Would not recommend this place.

4 business gents met and all ordered salads. After Christmas blues. Each of us had a different green appetite. All 4 salads arrived looking scrumptious. Not one of us was disappointed. My choice. Tuna sashimi salad. Crisp and tasty. Great meals all around and great service.

Went here with co-workers for lunch. The menu is fairly large selection of standard fare and ethnic dishes. On my last visit, I had the roasted black cod. At any good Japanese restaurant, this is one of my favorite dishes. But having it here, although they used the right ingredients, they just weren't fresh or properly prepared/cooked. The vegetables were soggy like something you would get out of a cafeteria, and the cod, although tasted OK, it looked dull and old and was overcooked. On other visits, the food has been sometimes better, especially when ordering more standard fare. Service was OK. Attentive and friendly enough. Being a golf course clubhouse, the space is very bright and open. This visit probably rated 2-stars, but having been here in the past had better things, I would rate 3 stars. Food is hit and miss, but service and space is generally good.
