An extremely mediocre food experience. We have ordered take out a few times and there is nothing authentic, enjoyable about the food. From the taste of their curries, it seems its mostly tailored for non East Indian people who don’t know about real taste of...Indian food. Take out quantity is pathetic. Save yourself the trouble and go to Surrey to enjoy authentic East Indian food. Just overpriced place and bland curries.More

From what I understand from all the Indian cab drivers, the best Indian food is over in Surry. This may be the case but it's not worth the $50 to $75 cab ride it would take to get there from the airport. I found Ginger...close by and only $15 by taxi. Not like a plan I guess it could have about this places they don't really understand what you mean when you say not spicy at all. Their miles is seems to be pretty spicy to me but, it is tasty. The first time I went I had the pack or as with your so salty I had to send them back. Since then I haven't ordered them and everything else has been spiced accordingly. I usually order a little extra cream and mine just to kind of thin things out a bit as some of the flavor profiles can be rather overpowering. There's a fantastic waitress who I think goes by the name of Jen but I seem to run into every time I go. She has always been very helpful to me. Keep in mind that my four star review is based on Indian restaurants I have found in Richmond. I understand it there may be better restaurants elsewhere but I like this one in this areaMore

Have come here quite a few times for lunch and dinner. Their curries are delicious and their lunch/dinner specials are sooo worth it! Lots of food for a fantastic price. Good service and good food!

My son and I checked out this place for the first time and were impressed with the entire experience. The service was refreshingly pleasant and down-to-earth, while not a single food item disappointed.

I really enjoy their Curry and Naan, I usually order the Garlic Naan which is made fresh and with perfect balance of Garlic and herbs! Their Tandoori Chicken is also a must order, tender and succulent, again I find the spice level here to be...a perfect balance, not over powering with a certain spice! Staffs are very friendly and helpful, they also have a very extensive vegetarian menu for you to choose from as well! Ample parking at the mall that this great restaurant is located!More

It was my wife's Birthday dinner. Some of the vegetarian dishes were specially made on our request. We could get it cooked without garlic and onion with prior request/ order. The taste was very good. The service was nice. Paneer tikka was awesome as starter.

Went there 2 weeks ago for bday dinner with friends. Palak paneer (pureed spinach with cheese) is my all time fav. This time the dish was not as spicy as the 1st time I've ordered it. Also had fish, veg and chicken pakora. Not too...crazy about the veg pakora as it's a bit dry but u can dip it in d sauce that comes with it. Fish pakora was good. Almost like fish n chips n not spicy so it's good for little kids. Crispy but not dry. Chicken pakora was good too but I would choose the fish over chicken. Also had a bunch of vindaloo dishes like lamb and chicken. These are more on the creamier/rich side. Yummy and saucy. Goes well with garlic naan. Rice or garlic is extra and don't come with the dishes. Tis restaurant charges a fair price n serves good quality food. At 1st glance it might look like its cheaper than your average Indian restaurant but keep in mind that rice & naan are not included. Comes to around $2.50 for an order or naan (2 pcs cut into 4 pcs) or a cup of rice. That dinner wasn my 4th time dining there n will definitely go bk there again. Place was nice too.More

Not so great. Below average taste and food quality for what they charge. So called Chicken in Methi leaves had no methi leaves in it. Basically was chicken masala. Portions were also little smaller when comparing to other Indian restaurants in the same price range....Definitely not worth a second visit.More

15$ avg for dish, mostly are small serving but good to feed two people. They no longer accept the entertainment book coupon. The taste of curry chicken and biriyani was good.
