This place is popular with the locals. We felt lucky to get a table without a reservation. Had the corn chowder with minces chicken soup, chicken with honey glazed walnuts and beef chow fun. The chow fun was the beat dish. Highly recommend.

On my way home we had five hours layover in Vancouver, so we decided to go for Chinese. The Sun Sui Wah was always our choice for Picking Duck and it never disappointed us. The service is always excellent, very attentive and highly professional. Their specialty is seafood, but every dish is excellent. I will definitely stop by again given... More

Spacious restaurant that one can have a dinner and conversation. Fresh kIng crab is on the pricey side, almost $50 Canadian per pound. If you have a party of 4, you need a crab from 7 to 8 pounds. It is worth it. Asked to have it cooked in three styles - crab legs with garlic, crab body with ginger... More

Had a fabulous lunch here. My favourite dishes were the pork and shrimp shumai and the beef short ribs. The pork spare ribs with black bean sauce and the shrimp dumplings were also very tasty. I will go there again.

The food was fabulous... but the server Stephen was the best! When we looked at the menu he said "don't look at the menu... I am your menu!" - he made our meal wonderful!

The best authentic Chinese food you can have in America maybe. Superb Dim Sum. Food was made to order, fresh ingredients, no excess of soy sauce. Just perfect. Only con: it is very crowded so be ready to wait, don't go there if you are super hungry, waits can be over 45 minutes and the nice aromas of food will... More

By coincidence, I visited Sun Sui Wah, twice this week, for Dim Sum on Sunday and for Dinner this Wednesday were both times the kitchen executed absolutely superb, delicious meals. They did not miss on a single dish, every one was "out of the park" Dim Sum flavours were so perfectly executed, even dishes that are not usually my favourite... More

Seems very popular for lunch time, but we managed to find a table as we arrived early enough. There are fresh (live) seafood in the tank, so I am sure these are good and fresh. Dim Sum is made to order so these are good as well.
