Our Tap & Forno restaurant offers 40 locally crafted beers to indulge in. Our pizzas are cooked in our Forno oven and we have a variety of gluten free and vegan friendly menu items. I went here with my sister over the weekend for some lunch. I heard about happy hour menu for drinks and food.
The restaurant and the interior was very clean. I’m not sure why it wasn’t busy here. Anyways we ordered 10 pc wings ($8), Truffle fries ($8) with Mimosa ($5). Chicken wings were okay. It tasted like something I can easily make at home. Truffle fries were amazing. The portion was big and it was packed with flavours. I hardly tasted truffle in it, but it tasted more garlicky which I didn’t mind.
Mimosa was great! Although I tasted some wine in it, the drink was refreshing. Service was pretty memorable. Staff were very kind and friendly they greeted and smiled at us. I’ve rarely been to an establishment where staff were so friendly and smiling especially in Vancouver. Ladies were doing fantastic job serving customers. Angry Otters is a great pub for a dining with friends or family.

repeat visits to this brewery resulted in the same conclusion. great stouts and porters. average to poor food. double forno heated to 400 degrees and kamloops-style drizzled pizza instead of 900 degrees and napoli style. damn shame. looks like the place sold in september. that property is cursed. hasn't been able to sustain a business since the original avalon.

This is a solid place. So much is going for it...including great, friendly staff, TONS of great beers on tap, Killer wings, and solid pizza.
Specifically a big fan of the spicy lime sriracha wings and the maple bourbon bacon pizza from their Forno oven. The beers are always changing but they always have lots of local taps to choose from. It’s become a real go to spot for us - I think we’re regulars! :)

Came here after hiking at Cleveland Dam. Great beer selection and their IPA was my favorite, my husband was a big fan of the Dark Matter. They have a kids menu and even brought crayons and coloring booklet for our toddler. The Cottonwood was on the money and hot dang the margherita pizza was LEGIT!! Started with the pierogis and wish we’d saved room for the dessert apple pierogis - next time! Super friendly team here too. And great private accessible restroom with changing table is always a plus.

Had not been in a couple years. I used to really like it there. The food and beer selection was always great.
I guess there were some changes to the service since I had been last. I wasn't told that now you have to order at the front? For food or drinks. No one tells you. Had no idea of the change until I read the other reviews after I had left.
I was told to sit at any table I liked and was served a beer at the table... And no one came to check on me or ask if I wanted food or ask if I needed a bill either. I sat there a long time. There was also a wedding party taking photos that I didn't want to interrupt that blocked me off from the front. I just left the beer money on the table, walked out, and ate somewhere else.
I really wasn't sure what was going on there.

We frequent Hearthstone for the awesome atmosphere, impressive beer list and solid menu.
No matter what time of day, Hearthstone is a great option. It’s perfect for an afternoon enjoying beer and pizza. The service is good and it’s spaced appropriately so you feel safe dining in or outside.
If you’re in the neighbourhood, you should definitely stop in.

This place is certainly a winner when it comes to beers and burgers. their fries are excellent. Their beer flights give you a perfect taster before trying out full glasses. Certainly a place I would recommend if you are in the neighborhood looking for a good beer.

Yesterday was our first time at the restaurant. We were in the neighborhood for Santa pictures with our 3 year old.The staff were very attentive and my daughter loved the popcorn. It was nice they had a kids menu too. Very good selection of beers and ciders. My husband said they had 4 of his top beers on tap so I guess we will be back. Burger was juicy and pizza was yummy. Cool looking pizza oven to.

Great atmosphere. The food was fantastic and the beer was good too. Lots of choice on the menu. Our server, Angela was helpful, friendly and went above and beyond to serve us. Not sure when we will be back in this neck of the woods but we would highly recommend this place.

As an Englishman in Canada during these unprecedented times, I’ve been missing a taste of home. I came in for the first time today, and tried the Taylor’s special bitter and it was phenomenal. Exactly what I wanted, and what the Canadian beer industry needs. (Personally I’d prefer it less cold and pulled from a hand pump, but I understand that’s not how it’s done over here).
Taylor, I don’t know who you are, but thank you.
I also had the deep fried pickles. Tasty and a good portion size. Staff were friendly. Everything seemed very covid-safe. I’ll definitely be back. Hopefully before they run out of Taylor’s!

I have been a regular customer at the Highway 33 Kelowna location for over 5 years.
I do not drive, I walk. I carry a back pack with me to carry home my purchase.
Well... not today!
For the first time in over 5 years of walking in to buy a 6 pack or more, having my back pack tightly closed, snugly strapped to my back, it was a problem for them.
There are more cameras than selections of beer there.
Women can go in with a giant hand bag and not be profiled as a thief but it would appear that because I am a man, I am going to steal.
Pathetic treatment of a regular customer in an empty store with 4 or 5 workers getting involved.
Innocent until proven guilty my ass! If you think I'm a thief, follow me around while I shop. Ask me to open my pack when I get to the register.
Don't assume a regular customer is a thief.
Kind of a humiliating experience actually.

Food was pedestrian at best, service was terrible. Will not return for seconds.
Some manager was taking yup all the serving staffs time while we waited for food. Should do that on your time, not mine.

Our go to place for pizza and beer. Recommend the bourbon bacon and forager. Lots of beers on tap - ipas, lagers, sours and wheat covered

My GF and I have eaten here a few times as it’s right by our gym and it was always really good, however.... today our gym was closed and my gf really had to use the bathroom... she went in to use hearthstones and was rudely denied...
needless to say we will not be giving them our business any longer
