I love coming to Nando's chicken, the chicken was so delicious! It was moist, smothered in hot sauce, and the coleslaw was the perfect complemento to cool my mouth down... The staff were so nice and kept checking everything was ok...
The food was ok. Nothing to get excited about.
The service was reasonable however the staff should be more knowledgeable about the menu and more attentive to their customers.
My main complaint is the portion size. We had a child in our group, a seven...year old boy and he ordered from the children's menu.
I understand that the children's portions are smaller however the tiny amount of food he got was ridiculous. The children's menu prices are not that much less than the regular menu so that shouldn't be an excuse.
We ended up having to order more food for him and he really isn't a huge eater.
If I ran a restaurant I'd be embarrassed to serve a portion that small.
Otherwise the visit was ok but I don't think I'll be in a hurry to go back.More
I mean, c'mon. Nando's is not going to stand or fall on the basis of my humble review, but I will say this - if you go here regularly, I think you should reassass your life choices. It's a conveyor belt facsimile of what was...once Portuguese Churrasqueria - a miraculous and wonderful fast food option. In this neck of the woods, there are not many options for this cuisine, but if you have a craving, Barcelos is far closer to the real thing. Nando's is ... Nando's. The McDonald's of Portuguese barbeque.More
Bit of a different process when you eat here: walk in, given a menu and shown to a numbered table, a rooster (on a stick) is added to your number stand, then you go up to the till to order/pay and provide your table number,...and your food is brought to your table.
Lots of choices on the menu, including vegetarian, with optional sides and varying spice levels. Our sandwiches and wraps were fresh and tasty, with a nice spice level.
They've done a really nice job with this new space - the decor is funky, and since there are windows on two sides it's very bright and cheery. Staff were very polite and nice, but it felt like they were still learning the ropes.More
What a terrible experience in what we thought would be a nice new upbeat vibe at their new location. This almost seamed like a bad joke, the food was nowhere near what it used to be at the old location. There was no “heat” to...what was supposed to be extra hot chickens. Not sure where they found these miniature chickens, but these thighs were the smallest I have ever seen in any restaurant anywhere in the world. The service was disgusting, what a shame to see such an iconic brand crash and burn.More
