I live downtown and I literally pay to take the sea bus just to eat here. Best soup you'll ever have.

Choose between 4 soups, 4 sizes & different buns. Good homemade food, especially appreciated on a chilly winter day. The clam chowder was great & the fresh buns are delicious.

This reminds me of the Seinfeld show. People line up tell them what soup you want, what size, you get the soup and a roll. I got the seafood soup and it was just OK but maybe the other soups are good. It was a cold day when I was there are it is a great idea.

This deli is located in the Lonsdale Quay food court, and a great place to grab a bowl of warm soup for lunch on many of Raincouver’s grey days in fall. On this occasion, I picked up a couple of containers to-go for dinner. The creamy Carrot Ginger Orange was perfect to nurture my friend’s cold. It’s nicer to taste... More

After eating a watery, tasteless bowl of sliced celery, with very few pieces of clam, I wondered if this was the same chowder people raved about. The tea cup amount served was not worth the money charged. We paid in American dollars but she charged us the Canadian amount, not giving us the difference back in Canadian change. It is... More

Whenever we are in North Vancouver, we come here for the chowder. We tried the other soups and they are great too but the chowder is amazing. The bagels are yummy, the staff is great and the ingredients are fresh and all is prepared in front of you. We love this place so keep up the great work! Oh and... More

Four soups of the day. Made fresh everyday in huge vats. Best selection earlier in the day. By the time we got there at 6, two of the three soups were sold out. Had the chicken noodle and split pea. Both were excellent.

This is the place I go to if I need a certain stock for a recipe. (it saves a lot of work and also handy when you only need a cup or two. The soups and lunches are superb. The gentleman operates a well run establishment. What I also appreciate is that he uses a lot of young staff. I'm... More

Never get disappointed with their soups. Always hot, always great tasting. Even my picky 87-year old client loves their clam chowder today! My mushroom soup was perfect, too. With their bun and butter, lunch is always perfect at Soup Meister.
