It was one of the spots in North Shore we were planning to go a couple months ago and finally we did it. Just didn't give a 5, because I still have my favorite place in North Shore, but the food and service was excellent! For sure will come back and maybe order one of the steaks. 😋

Was there for the first time a couple days ago and I had the Pasta Quattro which is reserved for 'Italians' only...that I am not in fact I am a 'caker' to my very many Italian friends....well this dish was brilliant and I highly recommend it as it took me right back to the countryside in Tuscany the dish was... We used to go to this restaurant a lot. We haven't been in awhile and decided to go for dinner on a Friday night. We loved our appetizer, but unfortunately the meal went down from there. Neither our wine glasses or water glasses were refilled past the first pour, and dinner was mediocre at best. When we commented on the... More

Quaint little Italian joint in North Van that with great food and great service. Ideal for a romantic dinner.

The second and last time I order the flank steak and it was half fat, quarter grisel and the rest tough meat. The spaghetti was not bad but the value was not great.

We come here often for lunch and we're quite disappointed with a number of the dishes our family of six ordered. The arugula salad was oily and completely unseasoned, the carbonara tasted only of raw garlic - not something my young son could eat and the truffle ravioli was bland and heavy. We have always lived this little local icon,... More

Well, we had decided to take our friend who had flown in from Bali , for a nice meal, and was very impressed with the food as well as the service . What had particularly impressed our guest was the fact that, on looking at my cell phone and then realizing that the phone was in need of charging, the... More

Had dinner here last night with four friends; a Christmas tradition we have at a different restaurant each year. This is not a big place; I'm guessing it would seat fifty but I heard a rumor there is a private dinning room at the back. It is a long narrow room with rich wood paneling and white table cloths and... More

I've been to this restaurant at least a couple dozen times over the years and, until the last couple of years, it's been fantastic. However, the last 3 times there, i've had terrible meals. Not only were they almost airplane quality, the service was equal. The last time was the last straw. I ordered the "pasta for Italians only" which... More

We're regulars and stopped for lunch today as we were doing other things on the North Shore. We shared a bottle of red but each had our own order of the Spaghetti for Italians Only. Perfect! Attentive, friendly service. The best fresh focaccia in our experience. Our rating would improve to a 5 if they put some effort into cleaning... More
