This looked like a great restaurant and we wanted to eat here however we went during a holiday period and there was at least an hour and half wait for a party of five. Don't count on eating here on your visit unless you have a reservation or plan way ahead of when you want to eat and put your... More

Hi MomfromWAState, You are quite right that during key holiday periods, especially when the weather is agreeable (fresh snow and sunshine), the Resort can be busy. We're sorry that you couldn't enjoy a meal at Altitudes. We'd of course love for you to come back for a return visit, when it isn't quite as busy, so you can enjoy the... More

We ate during our time on Grouse Mountain and enjoyed the food and the service. The menu was fairly restricted but that was not such a bad thing for us this occasion. The atmosphere was busy but was enjoyable as everyone was in a festive mood

We just came down from grouse mountain with the family and friends and the whole experience was ruined by a flippant an uncaring restaurant manager. We were 3 adults and 3 small children who just came in from seeing Santa. Everyone was cold and hungry. We waited quite awhile to be seated but I could see that they were busy.... More

Hi Jim, When our food and beverage team saw your review, they felt badly that your visit to Grouse Mountain's Peak of Christmas had been marred. We were definitely short staffed, but you are entirely correct about your expectation of a kind explanation. We do want to invite you back so you can experience a meal in Altitudes Bistro, including... More

We arrived at Grouse Mountain around lunch time right after our visit to the Capilano Suspension Bridge, and would like to find a place to relax a bit. Altitudes Bistro is a perfect spot for us. It's spacious and comfortable. We have a table next to the window. Views there are simply amazing even on a foggy day. Food is... More

Alighted from the Skyride and went upstairs to the Altitude Bistro to have lunch. This is a place to sit down, relax and enjoy the stunning views. Food is great too! The honey sriracha chicken wings were nice and spicy. Yam chips was good as a shared portion. The Szechuan prawn with rice was an interesting fusion food. Overall, a... More

Enjoyed my dinner at this Bistro which overlooks Vancouver. I had a glass of the local white wine and the Salmon burger. Both were very enjoyable especially considering the view. Service was friendly and efficient.

We decided to have lunch immediately we stepped off the gondola. We had to wait maybe 20 minutes, in an adjacent outside lounge, which was pleasant. It was a sunny day so we chose to eat on the terrace. The Bistro was busy and service was a little on the slow side, but that didn't matter as there was plenty... More

We were able to get a window seat and the view added mightily to the overall ambiance. We were on Grouse Mountain at lunch time and decided to try the Bistro. It turned out to be a super way to complete the day. We each ordered appetizers and all were very good: ribs, wings, nachos, and mussels & fries.

Had lunch with friends sitting outside enjoying the spectacular views of the mountain. Menu was varied, with something for everyone. Food was well presented and came out quickly. Portions were of a fairly average size and tasted pretty good too! The menu was reasonably priced for a local attraction!!
