I spent an awesome evening together with my family here. Besides the tasty menu, the friendly, family type atmosphere is the one that goes to your heart. The friendliness of the entire staff and especially of the owner/chef is outstanding making you feel...you are a part of the family. If you are not sure what to choose between the pizzas (the way only Italians make it), perfect pastas or tasty seafood dishes, or maybe some mouth watering veal scallopini or chicken parmigiano, let yourself in the hands of the chef and for sure he will surprise you not only with an unforgettable plate to enjoy, but also with a perfect paired wine for the dish he will surprise you with. I would give them three thumbs up, but I only have two... So, I will for sure mark That Place Restaurant to the top on my "to go to" list... Support local businesses which need us more than ever to survive and delight us with their culinary magic.

Last night my wife and I decided we wanted to try some take out food to support one of our local restaurants during these trying times (COVID-19). Are we GLAD we did!! We ordered our food over the phone and picked it up about 20 minutes later. They ensured physical distancing was maintained and our order was ready as promised.
We got home and had the best take out food we had ever had! We started with the "Prawns & Wild Mushroom Saute", then onto the "Linguini Alla Vongole" (Clams in White Wine Olive Oil). The portions were good and the FLAVOURS were outstanding. These along with a glass of wine was almost as nice as eating in their resaurant.
If you are looking for a really delicious meal during these times...give "That Place" a call. You won't be disappointed and you will be supporting one of our local independant restaurant.
When we get past this pandemic, this will be one of the first places we will be heading to.

Had a Great dinner last night at That Table..a real family based restaurant with great, friendly, accommodating service and the food was very good. The portions were generous and very tasty. The Alfredo was not quite to my wife's liking but they immediately made it right to her liking and it turned out great. My Spaghetti Amalfi was excellent. We had a great Sangria too. The best..was their cannoli for dessert. They were The Best cannolis we have ever had in Vancouver..home made and we have tried many cannolis. A must dessert. All for a reasonable price. Can't beat that. We'll certainly be back. You should give them a try.

Spaghetti Amalfi-said with Shrimp & Scallops. Unfortunately the seafood was so tiny and so few we could not taste it. The amount in the spaghetti would not fill a teaspoon. Flavor was non-existent. The other dish - Chicken Picatta had a piece of cauliflower that had the black mould spots on it. To top it all off we ordered some bread (the men were still hungry as the spaghetti was so bad). We received some over toasted pieces. The bill came and the topper was that we were charged $8.00 for the bread (a loaf at Superstore is only 95 cents and we had 3 slices of it). Definitely Will Not be going to That Place again. Also extremely noisy.

Food was good. Second time there. Room is very warm even in October.
Server offered us a drink but never a second. Brought us water that was never refilled. Busser did all the work. Felt like a douce wasn’t very important. Small restaurant and not full. Totally unfortunate as we are foodies and love to reward great customer service. Personality and professionalism go a long way in making a business successful, especially in these extremely difficult times for the industry. A real shame in my opinion.

I have tried Osso Buco in some of our cities finest restaurants including il Giardino and must say...I found That Place to have the Best Osso Buco in town !!!

We were invited out by friends to this restaurant. We had never been here before and were pleasantly surprised by the warm welcome. It was difficult to decide as everything on the menu sounded good and the prices were reasonable. My wife and I chose different dishes just so we could try both... and both were excellent. The wine choices were good and we were recommended a Sicilian wine which went well with the meals. We would both recommend "That Place" to family and friends.

This is a small resturante just like the mom and pop ones i visited in Italy. I never had a bad meal in Italy and never at That PLace. The Veal Parmagone is the best

Tonight I placed an order that I selected from the "On Line Menu". After returning home I noticed that the order was not as advertised.I had ordered 4 extra meat balls,for $5, I received 3 for $6. I then looked at the bill. The priced was different than the on line price. One order was $2 higher and another was $1 more. I phoned the resturant and was told the prices had changed and quantity on some things.
They were indifferent to my complaint of false advertising and the fact that all I can go by is what's on line. When I placed the order I was not informed of any changes. We won't be going back and all my friends will hear about this. Too bad, food is good. Golden Boot is just up the hill.Also great food.

Home style cooking, well prepared, nicely presented, good size portions. A place that gives you a night out without breaking the bank. Limited parking in front but more located around back and throughout the alley. Food is consistent, pizza is one size. It is hand tossed, creative toppings and fills a large sized dinner plate. Spegetti sauce is rich and spicy, not hot, but rich in flavour. I have never had a reason to complain about the service, the prices or the food’s quality. More annoying is the parking. But it is worth the trouble. If you plan on taking larger party I recommend reservations as not a huge number of seats.

We opened the door and came in, and were immediately greeted by several employees, who seemed like they were just waiting for us. Felt like home right away. The gnocchi my friend ordered was delicious, and I had the baked cannelloni - also great! Would definitely go back.
