There is very few restaurants where the chef comes out to ask how your meal is (not was) and relates the passion he has for his food to the patron. This little restaurant shows big time charm and is duplicated by his wonderful staff

We did not call in advance and were surprised at how busy the place was given Covid. But we did not wait long at all, and they found us a patio table that worked. Service was fast enough considering the traffic, and servers were friendly....Kale pizza was a big serving, memorable, the flavour beat my expectation.More

This restaurant is situated on Main St Markham and is the best Italian home cooked food I have ever eaten. The restaurant is family owned/operated and provides excellent service along with variety of choices for all. The pasta is always home made and if you...choose the right day, chef Mario is available to cook a tableside dish from a cheese wheel that will keep you smiling for days! This is the favourite restaurant for all members of my family and many friends that we recommend this place to. Enjoy the experience in a beautiful heritage home. You will not be disappointedMore

Good welcome, quiet corner and good food. Service was prompt and friendly. The atmosphere was pleasant and not too noisy. A bit pricey but food and wine were good. Central location in Markham with private parking spots.

Restaurant is situated in a heritage house - great setting for a lunch or dinner or family get together. Home made pasta including gluten free pasta. Meals are made from scratch. Meals are generally very good but vary in quality from visit to visit. I...have been here several times, mainly for lunch, and I find the quality of the meals varies considerably. For example one of my favourites is the Ravioli de Madalena - a restaurant special. Most times this is an exceptional dish but on my last visit it was watery and tasteless. If this restauarnt can improve on its consisitency it would be an exceptional place. Service is excellent but sometimes slow.More

A rather inviting and bright restaurant. Unfortunately the food was a major disappointment. The meatball appetizer was bland and smothered with tasteless tomato sauce. The lasagna was dry, hard, tasteless and smothered with the same tomato sauce. The meal was barely edible. The service was...pleasant but extremely slow.More

We visited Folco’s for the first time 15 months ago. We were blown away by the food and the service. We returned this evening, wondering if our experience would match our initial impressions. It surpassed them. We both had Caesar Salad, escargots and the pasta...special, made a tableside with a cheese wheel. Absolutely outstanding. And the service matches the food. If you love authentic homemade Italian food, you owe it to yourself to visit.More

Let me first say the hostess, wait staff and appetizer were great. The main course pasta pescatore was disappointing..all of the seafood was overcooked. Kind of spoiled the whole experience. I don't think I'll be back.

I have now been here several times and keep coming back! Comfortable atmosphere, always great service, fair price, and excellent food. What more could you ask for? Their home made ravioli with braised beef is to die for. One tip- you can often get a...gift card at the local Costco only a few blocks away that will get you 20 percent off the final bill. I will keep coming back!More
