Speaking live: Came here at 10:30am with a table of 8 on Family Day, I totally understand how busy it can get and I can also understand a lot of patrons were not leaving hence more people were coming in for tables than people leaving....For the first hour of waiting I did feel sorry for the hostess Annie and her co hosts until I moved closer to the podium and realized they were accepting red envelopes and even coco’s BBT and seating those parties first. We were number 35 with 8 and somehow 36 with 7 were seated first. It is now 12:30 and somehow they’re calling number 26 now?? Hostesses keep on telling us to continue to wait but we keep on seeing new faces being seated before us with large parties as well. I understand some have reservations but there should be some sort of protocol with seating, ie 1 reservation, 1 walk in etc.. Very disappointed in this as it’s definitely not fair to those who are not familiar with the restaurant/or have anything to bribe their way to the front of the line. Will not be returning nor recommending this place to anyone. Update: after I wrote the above review they told us there was only 1 table before us with 8 ppl as well. They would seat them and then we would be next since they understood we had been waiting for over 2 hrs now. At 12:50pm after the table before us were seated, a new family came in with 8 people. They pulled the hostess aside and we could hear them whispering and… gave the hostess- you guessed it!! A red envelope and they were lead into the far back room. I think it’s important to note that there were MANY others with around 5-8 ppl waiting with us that had reservations for 12pm- so even if they had a reservation, why did they not seat those who had reservations for 12pm, or even 11:30am!! who had been now waiting over 1 hr FIRST, and this family came in and was seated right away. We confronted the hostess and she just ignored us and walked away. We left knowing that she would had bumped us to the bottom of the list anyway. Hope the others still waiting was able to get their table.More
