We booked for Christmas Day at 6:30. The hostess seated us at the back of the restaurant in a room with no windows and white walls. The server said they were fully booked and we couldn’t get seating in the front of the restaurant. Our...server did have a bit of a problem understanding us. We ordered beef empanadas $10. There were 2 and they were delicious. The mushroom croquettes came with 3 and she asked if we wanted a 4th one. They charged $4 for an additional one. They were delicious. I liked the jamon bacon wraps $12. You get 4. The kale salad is enough for 2 and the dressing is very tangy. The sherry honey pork ribs came 4 pieces $28. I give them a 3 1/2 out of 5. Mine had fat on it. We didn’t order dessert. I ordered the tropical sangria. The service was good and the food was good.More

Had tapas selection of smoked sardines (too salty), grilled bone marrow (needed seasoning), paella negra (needed more saffron), and had to look for fruits in the Sangria. Service was great though

My husband went for a lunch with a work colleague two months ago and he enjoyed the food. So we decided to go as a family of an evening on a weekend and was disappointed. Out of 6 tapas half were over cooked. The manager...offered at the end of our meal to get replacments but decided not to. Sangria was nice.More

We had reserved a table @7pm-.Tapagria@Markham .My families kept waiting to be served for half hour b4 father dinner, but all waiters declined to serve. I came late there for parking Then we had water or drinks. We ordered Charcuterie&Cheese Platter and Paella De Mariscos...@8pm. The first appetiser dish came about 15 mins while the Spanish Seafood Rice came about 9pm. I had been waited for tasting this famous Spanish Seafood cuisine for a long time. However, the seafood was not fresh and I did not smell any good from the food. We all felt that the rice was oily and greasy. I am disappointed with the services and the food of this restaurant. I would rather go to downtown to try it. What a father's day dinner my daughter invited me!!! But I deserved with my daughter's heart as she still respected the shown up waiter service. Even she underpaid the tips, she paid tips 15% instead of 30%.More

an almost completely enjoyable meal here with the food being quite good and the service being a little off in our opinion. lovely wood and iron industrialish space decorated with eye catching art. greeted by a young man that immediately came off as surly and...uninviting. seated quickly in an almost completely empty dining room. our server was friendly enough, bringing menus and water right away. but as the meal progressed it seemed that his presence became more perfunctory and less visible. not in our opinion quality service. as for the food, we really enjoyed all but one of the tapas items we ordered, with the paprika garlic shrimp being the standout. plump shrimp that i believe had been grilled on a flat top tossed with garlic and copious amounts of (spanish?) paprika. these were delicious if a bit spicy, possibly from some red pepper flakes. on the high end price wise for the hot tapas which kept us from ordering more. all other items we ordered were from the pintxos or tapas portions of the menu. they do have 3-4 main entrees such as steak along with multiple preparations of paella available. we chose not to order paella as it takes a bit of time to prepare but the ones we saw on other tables looked and smelled delicious. first order of pan con tomate with manchego cheese from the cold tapas had nice sweet tomato flavor but suffered from an overabundance of the topping which made the bread quite soggy instead of just a light rubbing of tomato and a slight grill on the bread to prevent this. we have ordered this elsewhere and enjoyed the different preparation. next was a pinxto of serrano ham and manchego cheese, both of which were tasty but again the lack of a bit of heat on the bread made it just okay due to the blandness of said bread. our other hot tapas was mushroom croquettes which we liked very much. full mushroom flavor with a dollop of a tasty sauce-with i could have asked about it's ingredients-that complimented them nicely. great dish. the shrimp and seafood salad tapas were pretty good with both suffering from the cold bread problem and seafood salad being on the bland side. shrimp we very nice. last item was the truffle spread and manchego tapas. this was a miss for us. a too large amount of the really, really earthy truffle spread which was so strong as to overpower the flavor of the cheese. also caused the bread to be soggy. be prepared if you order this. a smaller amount of the spread would actually make this better IMO. would try again if in the area with time to enjoy the paella, hoping for a different service experience.More

Average visit. This restaurant used to be so much better. The food used to taste better and there was more variety on the menu. Also the place actually used to have a good vibe. They sit some customers in a separate huge room —- why?...The whole point of going to a restaurant is to go out and be part of and enjoy the atmosphere. I could have just got a take out stayed in my home if I knew they were going to do that. It’s awful to put a handful of people in a room which looks and feels completely different to the rest of the restaurant, actually quite rude. As I said, used to be so much better.More

I called Thursday night for tonight ( yes I know it is Valentines day weekend) Spoke to Gary who did not have a table for us. I explained it was my sons birthday. He said he would see what he could do, He called back...less then 15 min later with a table for us at a reasonable time. He is just incredible. He sat us in Miguel's section another bit of luck for us. We asked him to pick items for us from the Tapas menu. One was better then the next. The shrimps were so good we asked for bread so we could finish the sauce in the bottom. The paella was good but not as good as the tapas. One staff member was better then the next I highly recommend this restaurantMore

The service was really good. It’s our anniversary and they made it special for us. We ordered a couple things and their signature Paella. The 40 mins wait was well worth it.

Excellent in almost every respect. The staff were friendly and helpful with the menu. Tables were well spaced. The food was first rate. Especially the octopus leg, the dates wrapped in bacon and the ceviche. The sangria was very good and not watery like in...some places. Our server, Shaheen, was really good and attentive. Definitely worth returning. Big improvement with the change of ownership.More

On a Friday afternoon, this was a great spot for grazing on tapas and sangria. We shared some of the small dishes and each one was very good, and beautifully presented. I love traditional pan con tomat, which is simple crusty toasted bread with juicy...tomatoes The ones here were well seasoned. The stuffed dates were plump and flavourful, the grilled garlic shrimp were amazing. The serano and manchego together was fresh and tasty. I would go with a bigger group and try more dishes, and even stay for Paella, if the afternoon goes by. The Paella is made to order and that is a good 45 minutes so, keep that in mind, but worth the wait.More

Ate with my omni partner so he also had some small non veg plates. Friendly service, offensive bull-fighting painting on the wall, and clearly marked menu shows vegetarian options. Free parking, lots of seating, and a really great mushroom/ truffle oil paella 🥘.

Service +Server and host very attentive and professional. Frequent check-ins, suggestions and insight on food ? Saturday lunch was slow so staff had time to be attentive Food Got set menu for 4, for the 6 of us + 3 more dishes (see pics). Excellent...flavours and well presented. Price Not cheap. If you can afford the Keg then this is great alternatve cuisine - esp if you like seafood. Restaurant Very clean. Well designed and built. Actual pork legs hanging for unique decoration. Washrooms very clean with mouthwash and hand cream. Table seats spacious.More
