Extremely clean little bistro. Had a Friday night dinner w wife and we both chose the nightly dinner specials and added two appetizers and one dessert to share. Our apps were a caesar salad and Texas burnt ends. Generous delicious salad w real croutons, bacon bits and parmesan. The burnt ends was a large portion of brisket pieces in a small cast iron skillet w a spicy honey BBq sauce. Our main courses consisted of grilled lamb loin chops w Chimichurri and a seared sesame tuna loin w a mango salsa. Both were so fresh and large portion for the price. We finished our meal w a leche flan which our server one of the owners named Rosie explained is a traditional dessert from the Phillipines. It was like a fusion of creme caramel an creme brulee and the texture, taste was sublime. Fresh whipped cream and berries came as the garnish. Shared a bottle of Pinot Grigio Voga. Delicious food and incredibly attentive service. Don't pass this restaurant by as it was a true great find for us.

Went for Saturday night table d’hôte dinner, we had a reservation.
Nice Bistro, good tables and comfortable chairs, nice layout, clean, quiet and well decorated.
Personnel are very efficient and pleasant to talk with.
Food was plentiful, piping hot and plates were well presented. Looked around and all items served from the table d’hôte seemed all good and lovely.
We had chicken wings and beet salad for starter. Both were fabulous. For our main course we had chicken parmesan and colossal shrimp dinner which were excellent.
Great selection of dessert and included with the meal.
Will return for sure.

We have been dining at Edwards Bistro since they opened five years ago. Their new location has just made the experience better. Today's meal was lunch and it was great, as usual. What makes the meals here consistently good is the quality of the ingredients. Good breads, quality cheese, fresh vegetables, and homemade everything. The jams, ketchup, salad dressings, desserts...all are freshly made. Their prices are moderate and the service is always excellent. The restaurant itself as well as the washrooms are clean. The wait staff is polite and efficient. Their breakfast meals are a cut above the average breakfast and there is a good variety of dinner options. Reservations are suggested for dinners, especially on weekends.

My mother made a reservation for Easter Dinner 2 weeks before. Speaking with with one of the owners she was told the restaurant would be open for Brunch on Easter Sunday and that there would be a special menu. Fast forward to 2pm Saturday afternoon prior to Easter and by chance my mom called asking if they Sunday menu would be posted on their FB page. It was then she was told they decided not to open. When asked why the restaurant made no effort to contact her to let her know they claimed to have lost the phone number. Such poor customer service cannot be overlooked. Definitely will not be heading back to this establishment again.

Made a reservation for 5:55 Sunday - received an email confirmation and 90 minutes before this time received an email reminding me and telling me to be on time. Arrived with an out of town couple on time to be told oh we can't hold a table open when it is a buffet. WHAT?????? No mention on website when booking that it was a buffet and why the reminder. I have been to this restaurant many times and the food is very good but the attitude I have encountered over the years from both the owner and his wife is very arrogant and I am done.

As usual an amazing lunch. New menu items intrigued us…club sandwich was packed with a lovely chicken breast, bacon and more. Enough for two meals, even though I have a healthy appetite . Delicious. The fish and chips was equally as good with four healthy pieces of fish. Excellent French fries as a side to both meals. Everything arrived promptly. We have come to expect home cooked meals from Edward’s and today did not disappoint. Plus, amazing value.

Clean, chic interior with several levels for dining. We sat by fireplace and ate on a Saurday night. We enjoyed many choices from the Table Dhote Menu which had a charcuterie board to start with inlcluding cheeses, baguette, olives and aged salami. Then two of us had escargots which were delicious and other two appetizers were a Caesar salad and house specialty of hand made spring rolls and shumai dumpling. Main courses chosen were a Filet Mignon w a red wine mushroom sauce, delicious mash and a vegetable medley w bok choy, carrot, beets. Second choice of main was salmon filet w a lemon hollandaise and. Thirdly chosen was two plates of the seafood monterosa pasta dish which came with at least 4 giant shrimp, sea scallops and salmon pieces in a rose sauce over fresh tagliettelle pasta.... Amazing service from the owner Rosie and all desserts served to us were house made which included white chocolate cranberry cheesecake, chocolate mousse cake, carrot cake and a dessert called leche flan which was like a cross between creme brule and a flan sweet. A great red wine bottle was served to us and total with tip was $225. An amazing meal, exceptional service and perfect price for quality and taste of our meals. Bravo!

Arrived at around 645 pm. I know this because I made sure it Wasn't a time frame that I could get an unnecessary parking ticket. First impression was exactly what I was looking for. Very modest from the outside with the big ol Edward's sign hanging high. Once inside I was immediately relaxed and charmed by this gem Everyting was three punch combination perfectly executed followed by a knockout blow to the tastebuds. Rosie and her man weren't the usual hosts. Rosie was over the top with being original and real. We love nothing more than showing true colors from the get go and can't stand fake smiles etc or people just going thru the motions. We both met her husband and Rosie and the waiter I believe the name is Adam and briefly some other restaurant people that were enjoying their meals there all were very very nice. Rosie of course stole the show she was everything you could hope for in a greeter she was sweet, she was sincere, she was very colorful in her storytelling, but the bottom line is she was real explaining how her food process was done up to including her coffee making. All the while listening to this music in the background that we couldn't get our heads around but it was like a love song love song Like a Love Song of rock bands like Nirvana and Metallica but turned into love songs. It really kind of made the place borderline chic and draw the night we were trying to guess what songs were what. Food was out of this world. Spring rolls. A seafood noodle dish. Dumplings. To the chef...I hope your wife realizes how lucky she is to have met you. Lol. I'm kidding Rosie. You two are both awesome.

Cornwall and the Counties are rife with traditional breakfast spots - and some darn good ones at that. But that’s offered at Edward’s Bistro is a departure from the ordinary bacon and eggs special to a more refined and culture brunch selection.
The bistro is relatively small, but not cramped. It’s nestled right in the downtown core.
The service I received was genuine, and caring. It feels like a happy place to be.
The food was the star of the show. As it should be. The brunch poutine with smoked pork belly and poached eggs with Hollandaise was beyond my expectations, which are generally very high. The Mimosa was a nice treat, too!
You need to eat here!

Heard lots about the place and finally got to try it.
The place is very clean all the way from the entrance to the very washrooms.
Very cozy inside .
You are greeted by extremely friendly Rosie which makes sure that till the minute you walk out you are totally satisfied.
The food . Well I went twice so far and withheld my review to the second time , just in case and I must say it it what it is - extremely yummy .
It is inexpensive considering you have a full course meal from entree to delicious deserts .
All made right at the establishment.
And the ice cream - it’s a wow ! Home made wow .
Will be frequenting this place for sure .
This is a must try :) enjoy

We were a group of 12, got together for a birthday; some travelled an hour away. Everything we ordered tasted great, you can tell it’s all made from scratch! The table d’hôte had many options and desserts were phenomenal. We heard the coffee was really good, but we weren’t offered any, even though it was included. We felt very rushed, main meals were served before appetizers were cleared off the table (minor detail). Many would have ordered a few extra drinks after supper, but dessert was served almost immediately after we took our last bite. We were only able to meet for 7pm, so yes, we only had 2 hours... but it was cut short. (Website said they were closing at 9, but at 8:20 we were told they were closing in 10 minutes and to come upstairs to pay).

Ate there after they first opened and the food was amazing. Unfortunately customer service is a zero. Two incidents while trying to make reservations. Firstly we tried to make reservations on New Years eve. The online reservation setup was a nightmare. Constantly sending us on a wild goose chase to confirm. In the end I decided to call directly to make reservations. I was then told by the owner I can only make a reservation online. I guess in today's age speaking to a human to acomplish a task is not practical. Needless to say we went elsewhere for New Years. We decided to give it a second go for valentines. We did all the proper procedure as per request. There was still some confusion and instead of our 7pm reservation which had been confirmed for 4 people it was changed to an 8pm reservation. We had in writing requested upstairs which we also had confirmed. When we arrived they were only expecting two people and they only had a table downstairs. When we spoke to the owner he was rude and disrespectful. We were told he couldn't guarantee a table. Im pretty sure thats what reservations are for. That's it for us for eddies bistro. We went to schnitzels and had a fantastic evening. Thank you very much. If you wish to keep your customers perhaps you should think about matching your customer service to the care and quality you put into your food!

Very sorry you are upset. We had a table for you last night we offered. We will not guarantee the location. Timo and you left because you only wanted to be seated by our window where there are NO tables of four and the restaurant was full. Thank you and again sorry.

Ordered their 6pc fried chicken. It came with a Caesar salad and fries. The salad and fries were very good. Most of the chicken was good but not all of it was cooked through. One of the pieces of chicken was not cooked all the way through and was still bloody.

Last night we enjoyed Edward's Saturday Night Table d'hĂ´te, at home naturally, and it lifted our spirits immeasurably. We feasted on prepared 'a la minute' dishes such as very more-ish chicken wings, succulent short ribs, irresistible desserts and much more. So happy to see Rosie and Jason carrying on with their usual excellence and good humour and so very lucky to have them. We will back back soon and often!

Service was quick for a
Friday night. Alcohol/wine list is limited.Started with salad which was tasty. Main course was salmon ,I think since the skin was removed Im not sure. Hollandaise sauce was bland. Vegetable carrots and beet very creative and tasty as well. Chocolate cake was excellent. Music was good but we had a hard time speaking with our friends over the load music.
