Good food and friendly service. We did takeout and they double-checked our order to ensure that we received everything we ordered. The chicken souvlaki was good, the Caesar salad was very good as was the horiatiki salad.

Special dinner tonight at the Diamond. Service was phenomenal. Steak was superb. Prawn Souvlaki was great. Diamond Dressing was perfect. And, we thought the pricing was pretty darn good considering the quality and what’s been going on in the world. We will make it a...monthly event!More
With 2 celiacs in the family this place has been our Osoyoos vacation go-to for years. Food was still safe but has got incredibly expensive and I'd think twice about going there again now. Decor and plating is very dated and for those prices ($35...for souvlaki, rice and salad) quite frankly I want more. Gluten free menu available but be aware that they have just copied and pasted items from the main menu. So whilst they are celiac safe and staff were knowledgeable when questioned, the GF menu does not represent what you will actually receive, eg they still said the platters included pita bread and potatoes - not true. Better dessert options needed too, whilst I appreciate Chapman's ice cream as allergy friendly, again at that price point I expect them to go above and beyondMore
We were a group of 14, service was fantastic (5/5). Food was decent (3/5) but for the prices that were charged it should’ve been outstanding. Prawns (1/5) tasted “fishy” and very salty. Prime rib was good but price tag was steep. 3 star rating primarily...due to the prices.More
Our group came to the Diamond to celebrate a birthday. Our server was super attentive and fun, he kept running back and forth but never lost sight of our group, we all commented how good the service was, food was also fantastic, he recommended Greek...Ribs which were superb, we also had Greek Platters and we all enjoyed it. First time and we already agreed on coming back in a month. Thanks Emelio for making our night!More
Calamari was too chewy. Not good. Margarita was sub par. Again not good. Lamb is good. Prawn souvlaki was good. Service is ok.
We ordered a 6 oz New York steak with salad and baked potato, plus the Lamb chops dinner. When at home we take a shortcut and cook our potatoes in the microwave. They are fine but they are not fluffy, so when I have the...chance I get a baked potato in a restaurant. The potato in this case was also cooked in the microwave; the steak was fatty, and yes, the garlic toast was cold and dry. My wife's lamb chops were better and its hard to spoil a Greek dinner. But sorry, highest rating I can give is Average.More
We visited the Diamond based on several good ratings and reviews (understanding that this is not always relevant in today’s market), but were regretfully surprised by the experience. The room is extraordinarily dated, which is the first and very least of the prospective consumer’s concern....The weathered carpets, booth seats and otherwise don’t add to the ambiance. The food; it’s passable for a roadside diner or truck stop, but barely. However, you will pay steakhouse prices. We ordered a lot of food, and without being specific, the quality of the product served is certainly not a priority here. This is especially disappointing, since there are so many opportunities to acquire fresh produce and meat from the farms nearby. As an interesting side note - there were about 40 cases of their “house made vinaigrette” stored in boxes from a supplier in the hallway leading to the restrooms.. The drink; despite an elaborate menu, was frankly disappointing, after ordering some “house specialties” that turned out to be sugary variations of otherwise classic cocktails. The service; sincere, and somewhat intuitive. Certainly the only redeeming quality of the experience. Overall, as a “top rated” restaurant in Osoyoos, I say this is boldly erroneous, and I concede that online platforms are primarily to blame, but COME ON PEOPLE! Clearly a lack of competition, and an aging market share has contributed to their success, but I fear this will not last forever. Hopefully there is still time for the Diamond to change it’ ways.More
We the ordered lasagne for dinner tonight. It was all noodles with a thin layer of sauce and cheese on top. The garlic toast was dried out and hard with no flavour. The sauce was good in the lasagne but for $26 it reminded me...of cheap frozen lasagne at the grocery store. Super super disappointed as over the years we have ranted and raved about the how wonderful the food is at Diamond. We told all friends it was a must place to eat when visiting osoyoos. We don’t recommend it anymore.More
Sadly , I won’t return.. After coming to this restaurant for years we have noticed a decline in the food and of course the pricing has understandably gone up. Last weekend I brought in 4 guests for a special occasion. Our service was pretty good...but we had to ask for water.Four of us asked for the fish special. One had the ribs. The fish was okay but one had the fish that seemed like it had been precooked and taken out of the fridge. It was cold so a hot dish was then brought. One lady asked for rice but we all got hard baked potatoes and barely cooked carrots. My potato tasted mouldy and did not look very good when I peeled back the foil. The salads were swimming in dressing and two people had asked for it to be “ on the side” but it was not. The tzatziki sauce also had very little flavour. The stack of supposed garlic bread came as dry toast with NO butter and underneath the stack of old toast was a dried up piece of Pita bread that should have gone into the garbage. Definitely not a stellar meal and I felt embarrassed to bring my guests there for the special occasion.More
Friends recommended this Greek restaurant so we tried it out on a recent trip. Very busy place (always a good sign) Service was very good. We shared the Beef Souvlaki and it was probably the best flavoured beef we’ve ever had. AMAZING flavour. The accompanying...Greek salad was great. The only thing that kept me from giving a 5 star review is because the pita bread was dried out and the lemon potatoes were undercooked. We would revisit,More
Came with my husband and two children. The wait for drinks Alone was too much and even worse for food. I expected high quality steak being a steak house as well as based on the very high prices, it was a disappointment. The chicken cordon...bleu was better but overall, a frustrating, slow and poor steaks for an astronomical bill!More
We were in town for the Half Corked race so took advantage of local restaurants. We made reservations for Diamond Steak House for 6pm on a Sunday. It was quite busy when we arrived, they tried to first seat us at a 4 seater jammed...in between two tables at an angle with the other patrons less than a foot away, could barely move my chair. We asked to move to a booth which they accommodated. Once seated, the server came around with menus and we ordered drinks, they seemed really frazzled and made me feel rushed. We ordered various steak dishes which were quite good. Sides included salad, baked potato and veg. Lots of toppings. While seated and waiting for our food, the table seated near us had two separate servers come to take their order, causing some confusion. They could use more staff I think, a common challenge these days. Food was good though.More
this was our first time here. We, the two of us, reserved a table for 5 pm to beat the rush and there was only 2 other tables. This is on Sunday evening. it started filling up around 545 pm. Could not believe how fast...the food came in under 15 minutes. We shared the roasted lamb and the mushrooms starter. Best food and such tender lamb we have ever had in a Greek restaurant. Only disappointment was no spanakopita on the menu. i have never been to a Greek restaurant that did not serve it. Dolomathes would have been nice too. We could not give this place a 5 stars because of the service which was inattentive and which we felt was unacceptable given the place was dead . No water poured for us like the other reserved tables that were empty and because our food was dropped off and then we were left with our server no where in sight during the entire meal with only one other table as the one had left. As a result we were not asked if the food was fine or if we needed anything else which would have been yes water please and another order of Tzatziki. I was about to take water off one of the other reserved tables besides us when she finally came by to pick up the empty plates, did not ask us how the food was only if we wanted dessert. we watched how other customers were served once other tables came in and wished that would have been our experience. Alas it was not and that is just how it went! Upon leaving our server was chatting with another server at the front and while we walked by a third server saw us and wished us a nice evening.More
This was our first time to the Diamond Steak & Seafood House and we were not disappointed! Staff was outstanding from the moment we arrived. Service was attentive but non rushed. The wine list was great. Food options as well. I had a 10oz Tenderloin...and it was done perfectly. Excellent taste. Another at our table had the Striploin and he said it was excellent. Portion size was generous! Overall the experience was great and I would definitely recommend this restaurant!More
