Travelled cross-country, Ontario to BC, and now heading back to Ontario, and this was probably the nicest meal we had. Owner's son very knowledgeable about wines and beers. Liked that they served only BC wines and beer, which he knew a lot about. Hubby had...Killer Bee dark honey beer, I had a nice pinot gris. I wouldn't normally drink beer, but I tried his because it sounded so interesting. If you like/love caramel and toffee, you will love this beer even if you normally don't drink beer. Great menu, lots of choices. Hubby had pork tenderloin, I had escargot and Caesar salad. All great choices. Owner's son helping out because hard to get staff. I think he should stay. His personality and knowledge of products on menu is exactly what's needed in the restaurant industry.More
The service was slow understandably because they were short staffed. The woman who sat us however somewhat soured the experience with her poor attitude. Made snarky remarks and didn't smile once. For an older lady you think she would understand the concept of customer service....The food was fine, not amazing, and portions were tiny. Two of our steaks weren't cooked properly. Hope the older lady with short hair reads this and learns to get a better attitude.More
Of the six staff I can see, five are not wearing any masks or face shields, despite there being a note by the front door saying it has been provided to them. Inexcusable.
The menu advertised ‘thin crust pizza’ so our table was expecting traditional Italian thin crust pizza.. and we each ordered one. Unfortunately it’s literally 2 stacked tortillas, not thin crust. You’re not fooling anyone. Awful- Would not recommend.
My wife and I were looking for a nice place to have dinner on our anniversary while in Osoyoos. After discovering that many restaurants are not open on Mondays & Tuesdays, we found this place was open. We sat on the patio out back, which...was perfect on a summer eve. Our server was pleasant, polite, and efficient. Our food came quite quickly, and was perfect sized portions. My wife had the salmon and I had the yellow-finned tuna. They are both served with a lovely combination of veggies and a 7-grain rice blend. Everything was cooked perfectly, however, we felt that the veggies & rice could have used a little more flavour. All in all, a solid meal, and we would return again!More
After a nice long biking and see a lot of wineries ,drop in Wlldfire Grill for dinner, restaurant is not that big , i am not very happy with their safety plan ,staff or owner need moor understanding and training about the current pandemic ,...the place is dead , I almost turn around and walk out ,but my lady friend is too tired ,so we got the patio setting , menu very average ,nothing fancy food , just a place to eat if you staving ,from pizza to salad , Chops to burger , we share the Calamari and the Prawn ,surprised not too bad at all , my Salmon little dry ,and have too much hoisin sauce over power the fish ,,and my friends Sirloin ( M) is very poor quality , looks like a commercial cut , and no flavor at all , mashed potato do not go well with the steak ,(baked Potato ? ) no presentation , Cook should go back to cooking school to learn the basics ,may be I am too fussy , price is very moderate , I am still hunger !More
Today Neha served my group of ten people. She was thorough, warm, attentive and engaging. And it was her first day! The food was absolutely phenomenal, I had the tuna burger, it was cooked perfectly. Great portion size, full of flavour. Every one of us...enjoyed our meals. They were so accommodating to our large group and they were thorough with their covid cleaning procedures. Highly recommend!!More
It's such a shame about this place as it's a fairly nice looking restaurant, certainly spacious and airy enough, and with interesting decor. The service is wonderful and everything seems to be great including the Caesar Salad which was fresh, tasty, and perfectly dressed. Then...we got to the Pepperoni Pizza: The base is something which most closely resembles a tortilla! It has the same texture and when you look at the base it looks a lot more like a quesadilla than a pizza crust! Sure, why don't we have a PB&J on a lasagna sheet instead! Thoroughly yuck!More
The atmosphere was very nice but don’t spend your money on the steaks. We ordered the 9oz sirloin dinner and the meat was not tender and the potato was a mashed potatoe not baked.
