My husband and I purchased a car in PoCo and had a long drive back to Chilliwack, so we stopped here for lunch. Glad we did! We both very much enjoyed our panini sandwiches (Turkey Red Pepper and Roast Beef), and the gravy for the fries was SO GOOD! Minus one star because I think there was sugar in the French fries seasoning mix, and the sandwiches were juuuuuust shy of an “Excellent” rating. Comfy chairs to sit in, clean tables, and the staff are pleasant and efficient. We would come back.

Stopped on the way from Edmonton to Vancouver because of the reviews. It lives up! Very small and cozy, smells amazing the moment you walk in the door and you’re greeted with very friendly service. The smoked meat and poutine were great. I’m not sure, but the Dijon mustard on the Reuben tasted homemade and had a perfect kick. Hidden gem.

Very good sandwiches, very very pricey but it’s not everyday you can have a traditional Montreal style sandwich like it. It’s a nice family operated business and everyone does a good job. Young lad is very polite.

- Sandwich was not even warm, let alone hot. The cold sandwich tasted very salty and cold. The bread was soggy. The meat wasn’t tender but very chewy. Overall the sandwich was a huge disappointment, nothing like a Montreal smoked meat sandwich.
- The poutine tasted old stale and soggy. It was disgusting and nothing special about it.
Went there for lunch, was told to wait outside for 10 minutes for food, took over 30 minutes to get the food. Overall impression is it’s just an overpriced Sandwich shop struggling to produce quality.

I had been wanting a smoked meat sandwich for weeks. I came across this place and thought, perfect!
My honest thoughts are … your food is off the charts. Fresh bread, great fries, seriously to die for Smoked meat.
This being said. You need to clean up your interior! Paint the floor! Update the decor and dining. Your food would put you on TV and have people lining up outside if your inside was cute and cozy. You have the greatest potential to blow this place off the map. Do it!

A good friend of mine recommended this fine eatery. My wife is huge smoked meat fan, and this is the BEST she has ever had. Great service, the young guy taking the order was friendly, efficient and offered great customer service. The soup, borscht, was incredible as were the fries.

Myself and my wife drove from Abbotsford to try it out, and I being from Montreal enjoyed it very much. Tasted like back home, and very satisfied with the lean sandwich, and coleslaw was on the mark. double fried fries, and looking forward to trying the regular smoke meat style next time. and I can say as a fact there will be repeat visits. I am very happy to find a good smoke meat place near by, finally!

Estrella's Montreal Deli is very well-hidden in busy Langley just across from the 200 Street as many vehicles have overlooked that tiny deli by passing to the Highway 10. Yes, I stopped by that popular deli cafe after I had difficulty to park my vehicle nearby. For take-out, I ordered three different sandwiches namely two Reubens for our girl and myself, one one Montreal for our boy, and one Estrella's Montreal Deli Special for my spouse. As of the Reuben, its light rye sandwich was toasted with panini including chuck of delicious meat, great vinegary sauerkraut, and thick rich Swiss cheese. My spouse loved quarter pound Estrella's Special including Swiss cheese on toasted organic brioche bun with joy. We ate excellent Cole slaw and yummy crispy sliced kosher pickle. We were very satisfied with the quality and portion of sandwiches to fulfill our appetite.

We have been here to Estrella's at least 10 times. Always for lunch. Food is fresh and very tasty. You get alot for your money. We have split it as it is quite large.

Traditional deli meat sandwiches and paninis
A smaller restaurant with perhaps 8 tables. Not a lot of room
Service is minimal, You order at the counter, they give you a numbered card, and food is delivered to the table
Wife had a grilled cheese with caramelized onions on light rye. We both tried it and it was delicious.
I had the BBLT which had smoked meat, crispy bacon, lettuce and tomato on an onion bun.
Also very tasty and both cooked perfectly.
Portions are good, but not what I would call large.

A friend had told me about this hidden little gem, so we went for lunch and I know I will be heading back in the near future! It's small, hard to see because of all the business' surrounding the area, parking can be a bit tough but if you keep trying you'll find some. I'm sure it was the best Montreal smoked meat sandwich Iv'e had, loved it! The fries were iffy, i have had better, but worth checking out.

Thanks for your review. We work hard to provide a great product. As for the fries...we are not using our traditional Yukon Golds. Two weeks ago our potato farmer lost his whole crop. We are using a yellow potato but not as flavourful as we prefer. Winter is always a challenge for us with potato's since we use fresh product. Our fries are usually amazing! Thanks for coming.

This is a tiny hole-in-the-wall type of place with a very simple menu, but what it does it does exceptionally well. They make there own smoked meat in the Montreal tradition. It’s a milder form of what American’s call Pastrami. the main offering is a 6 or 10 ounce Montreal Smoked Meat sandwich on simple rye bread with yellow or Dijon mustard. You can side it with a Montreal dill pickle, cherry pepper, or pepperoncini. They also offer a Ruben. They have a few other sandwiches, soups, and a couple smoked meat breakfast items.
The smoked meat is simple exceptional, fresh, plentiful, bright, and rich tasting. The shop has maybe 10 tables but we got ours to go and were not disappointed.
