This is a tiny hole-in-the-wall type of place with a very simple menu, but what it does it does exceptionally well. They make there own smoked meat in the Montreal tradition. It’s a milder form of what American’s call Pastrami. the main offering is a...6 or 10 ounce Montreal Smoked Meat sandwich on simple rye bread with yellow or Dijon mustard. You can side it with a Montreal dill pickle, cherry pepper, or pepperoncini. They also offer a Ruben. They have a few other sandwiches, soups, and a couple smoked meat breakfast items.
The smoked meat is simple exceptional, fresh, plentiful, bright, and rich tasting. The shop has maybe 10 tables but we got ours to go and were not disappointed.More
