What a wonderful experience. The food was utter perfection. Rack of lamb melted in my mouth. Lish was by far the kindest, friendliest and accommodating server we have had in a long while. 12 of us went for dinner. Only issue was one of the 1st to order (some ordered before rest arrived) didn't get her prawn Mediterranean salad until we finished eating. Server kept saying it was coming. How can a salad take longer than cooked orders?...Platter for w was $60 which is cheaper than other Greek restaurants. Spanakopita was delish. Had food leftover we gave to others. I judge on tzatziki n hummus and they didn't disappoint.More

I ordered the Vegetarian Dinner on a Friday evening at the Abbotsford location. When the plate arrived, it was half rice, a few more potatoes than a meat based dish, and about the same amount of veggies that I would have gotten on a meat...based dish. It was a lot of money to charge for a plate that consisted mainly of rice. I will not be going back and ordering this again. If you advertise that you have vegetarian or vegan options, please put more effort into it, or price it accordingly.More

Really tasty food, great variety of dish choices, casual atmosphere. Be aware- their portions are really large! We took a Greek platter for two which turned to have enough food for 3-4 people!

Fortunately, our waitress Ashley used American Sign Language with a deaf couple for my wife's 70th birthday. Ashley used directional eye contact with us during the order process - what an excellent attitude! She recommended a delicious roast lamb for a hungry guy. The wife...enjoyed her favourite back ribs along with the roasted potatoes. However, Ashley surprised the wife by providing a New York style cheesecake with a flashy candle for her birthday, The thoughtful manager/host approached us with the use of sign language for her birthday. The atmosphere was really ancient Roman/Greek bright marble on the wall with the busts. This is one of the best Greek restaurants in the Lower Mainland we have patronized ever!More

Our waitress Ashley was top notch and provided us excellent service! Food was hot and tasty, warm puffed pita bread too yummy to resist. Our experience at Greek Island was the perfect end to our long road-trip day.

Stopped here with a family of four. Everybody raved about their food. Each dish was delicious and very plentiful! The flavours were outstanding and we were delighted to find that we could buy a bottle of Greek salad dressing to take home with us. Ashley...was our server and she was so great! We spent a delightful time savoring a most delicious Greek Platter for Two on the patio. It was our first visit and we received excellent service as well as a lovely welcome from the owners. Everything cooked to perfection. The inside of the restaurant is...beautifully decorated and a welcoming atmosphere. Definitely will be returning.More

Hadn't been here in a few years, not sure what has changed but was underwhelmed by the food, I didn't find there was any flavor in the food and more that they just dumped olive oil over everything to make it taste good. Spices are...such a big importance in Greek cooking yet i feel they hijacked the dishes with oil. It's too bad cause they go out of there way to make you feel welcomed as a guest and do great a job, unfortunately wouldn't recommendMore

Greek is one of my favourite cuisines, And The Islands never dissapoints. The Lamb was perfection, the potatoes and rice amazing. The waiter was great recommended a nice wine and it was on point. Now the down side the greek salad was less than I...expected from a restaurant of this caliber. Although the dressing was very good I was dissapointed that they did not use ripe grape tomato which is easily available instead of the unripe grocery store variety, it was actually crunchy. Also one olive c'mon I can understand keeping prices down in this current economy but one olive gimme a break. and not even pitted at that. oh well over all a great experience but the salad needs work.
