Croissants to die for! Baguettes great for chili. Staff is always friendly but get there early! Popular place may get sold out!

We had the Chocolatines and Butter Croissants. They were large and tasty. They have other breads too. The pastry was warm and fresh.

Delicious pastries and sandwiches! My wife and I were passing through Canmore and Le Fournil was highly recommended to us by friends so we decided to stop in Canmore and give it a try. We were not disappointed! Everything was delicious!

This is our go-to bakery for all manner of breads, croissants, desserts, sandwiches, etc. Their breads are excellent. My favorites are the Montagnard loaf, the baguettes, plain croissants, danishes, and the the tropical-flavored pastries. They also have a small selection of excellent Quebecois products.

I followed this cafe on social media for a while and was lucky enough to have the opportunity to pop in over the long weekend. It is authentic to ally French and the staff openly shared info about the treats and coffees. My family and...I ordered three different types of croissants, a mocha latte, and a hazelnut cake. Everything was phenomenal! Note: This is a take and go spot. Nowhere to sit.More

Really delicious and fabulous looking pastries and really tasty bread. They do seem to be really busy on certain days with online orders, i.e. on New Year’s Eve they ran out of baguettes by 9 AM. Their food and other goodies selection in the store...part was also really good. No on-site seating indoors or outdoors. Plenty of parking nearby. Highly recommended.More

Loved their pastries, however more expensive than I anticipated. We were expecting a seating area too, however, they don't offer the dine in experience. Would we go again? Most certainly and also bring more money. $18 for a latte and a pastry is the making...of a new trend.More

I am a lover of GOOD coffee and pastry. I spotted this bakery while doing research for our vacation. It was EXCELLENT. The coffee (2 Americanos and 1 oat milk latte) were perfect. We also tried the blueberry danish and even grabbed a jambon and...fromage (ham and cheese) croissant to have for lunch. EVERYTHING was spot on!!!More

I tried this bakery a couple years ago on vacation and had asimilar poor experience,. For some reason I tried again on this years visit. I bought 2 small pastries. I could have sworn they were 5.25 each but the bill came to just under...19$. I should have questioned but didn’t and took them home. My wife and I thought they must be good at that price and they did appear to be delicious. I had the rhubarb tart, it was ok at best. Dry and lacking flavour. My wife had the passion fruit pastry. We both thought it was bad and it went in the garbage, What a waste! Many rave on Tripadvisor on the croissant and bread. I hope that is true. I am amateur bakery connoisseur and have travelled the world. A lot of pastries I have eaten. But this is the last time I waste my money here. Never again.More

We stopped here on our way through to Invermere. I was expecting more selection, but the items we had were so delicious! The salted chocolate and caramel tart, as well as the Turkey Cranberry baguette were SO good, in fact, we stopped here again on...our way back home just for those things. Highly recommend!More

This bakery lives up to it’s hype. Delicious pastries, good service and excellent drinks. If you want to preorder you need to give them three days currently, but you can come right at opening for the best selection! We will definitely be back!

After experiencing stale donuts and bitter coffee at the nearby Tim Horton's, we were thrilled to find Le Fournil during our visit to the Canmore area. We indulged in both the pastries (almond croissant, mixed berry pastry, and savory pesto/tomato pastry) as well as the...most beautifully crafted desserts. We've been to France twice, and can't believe we were able to experience something equally as good during our Canadian travels.More

When I was young and single I would travel to Paris every year. One of my favourite things was the buttery croissants that I could get there. With a coffee the croissant would last 10 minutes as I peeled thin layer after thin layer right...to the core of the pastry. I would by 24 croissants and bring them back to Canada. Freezing them would keep them fresh enough that after reheating they would be almost as good as the day they were made. After I would run out I would search out something remotely similar in canada but would only find poor attempts that focussed on cost by cutting out or limiting the butter and focussed on getting the product out on the shelf instead of taking the time to create something of quality. These mostly “bread” pastries would not peel but break into large pieces. I have not yet found anything close to what was being commonly produced in every corner patisserie in France. Until now. Thank you for bringing back the experience and enjoyment of the real French croissant.More

DELICIOUS authentic French pastries. The almond croissants were to die for. The cakes and other desserts also looked amazing. I just wish there was room to sit in the cafe!
