this is clearly a HUGE favourite with the locals. it is "out of the way" - as in not the middle of town; but not far away. The place has a bouncy, happy & filled with locals feel. Good coffee & friendly service.

We decided to hit up this place for Sunday brunch and it was perfect. What a selection for drinks and food! Very cozy inside - be prepared to share a table or potentially having to eat outside or take your meal to go. It was super busy but the wait wasn't too bad. The quality and quantity is totally worth... More

Small and unique. Good prices and service. Most importantly terrific food. Visit every time I am in Canmore and plan to continue the tradition.

What a great little place for breakfast! This cafe style restaurant has a large personality for sure. The service was fast and friendly, and the food was fabulous. The prices were very reasonable as well. Will definitely go back.

Quaint , and excellent bakery / lunch diner. We tried the special - Italian Turkey sausage ( this comes with eggs, toast and has browns) , abit of a wait , as this place is super busy, but well worth it ! you may have to google this cafe as it is not downtown , more in a residence area... More

We stopped in just before closing but they were still happy to serve us and let us stay as long as we wanted to finish. I had the chicken club and my husband had the huevos rancheros. Both were delicious!

Breakfast here was so good, we came back again for a second time during our 3 day stay in Canmore. Highly recommend it for the fresh and delicious food.

Excellent morning pastries and the best potatoe hash browns we had in Canada, amazing! The portion sizes are big too. Worth the short drive to visit, get there early to avoid the queues.

There I was again, in Canmore, this time to participate in one of the legendary 3 day and night marathons, running 222km, on a diet of only granola bars and water....which made my eventual visit back to The Summit Cafe all the more welcoming. Even though it had been more than 3 months since my last visit, they recognized me... More
