On a Sunday night the place had a line out the door. Food was good, service was good and the prices were reasonable.

A real Japanase chef is in the kitchen. This guarantees real Japanese flavours as well a sushi that cut and prepared to the perfection. I go there regularly.
Traditional family owned Japanese resto with consistent gray quality of food and friendly atmosphere. Reasonably priced, great variety of food. We love it 😍.thank you
Small restaurant. Fresh fish. Reserve to be sure you have a place. They do takeout also. Definitely recommend.
Small place, about 25 seatings. Fast service, courteous waiter, quiet and friendly atmosphere. Reasonably priced, and excellent food.
With so many Chinese -run Japanese restos serving nock-off Japanese cuisine,Suchi Yasu is the real deal with well made Japanese food prepared with care.Thir bento boxes at lunch are delicious and modestly priced.
Japan has a restaurant that serves Tonkatsu (Pork cutlet, and the meat in it is more than one inch thick! So yummy! Tonkatsu is not served in non-authentic Japanese restaurants, so when I arrived in Brossard, one of the first things I did was to...make a Google Search with "Tonkatsu Brossard", and Bingo! Sushi Yasu appeared in the results and it's close to where I live so said to myself that I got to try their tonkatsu. It's on the thin side but tasty. (a little tip for finding any type of authentic restaurant is to search for a rare dish). I go to that restaurant almost every week. Anything they serve is tasty. Authentic Japanese restaurant = Japanese owner OK, they adapted their menu to Quebec so it's not like going to a Japanese restaurant in Japan. Still, everything I order tastes good. I think they have very good ingredients and really know how to cook, which says it all. I think their California rolls are probably very good and fresh but I like the real thing. Japan has tons of restaurants, they are not all good but there are so many to choose from. Food is a big deal for them. Without the need to adapt their menu to Quebec food, maybe Sushi Yasu could attract citizens and tourists in Japan. That's the magic of an authentic Japanese restaurant!More
We go to this place 2 - 3 times a month. Its a relaxing restaurant, where you'll receive a good service.
Had the combo 38 pcs with mitso soup and salted beans appetizer. Accompanied with a small hot vile of sake made the deal with a kettle of tea to sip along. For some pointers make a reservation because it fills up fast and you might...weight a bit! Don’t take that chance.More
I ordered a suchi to go, for us it was just ok. It was very bad service from the waitresses (owners?), they look very, very stressful, they spoke with us & a same time did something. We had an impression that they are not interested...of us because we ordered just suchi.More
