Someone else posted "Nothing extraordinary." We tend to agree. However, the food was decent also. We do not recall the names of the dishes we had here. One was a variety of typical Chinese LoMein that had a slightly different flavor. The other was an...appetizer that was sort of like a long egg roll, but was unique as we never had anything similar to that before, and it was very good.More

I've had better Mauritian food elsewhere in Montreal so I don't think I'll go back there. Fried noodles were all sticky and chicken general tao was made in a cheap commercial aweful sauce. Took forever to get our drink and the dim sum was not...worth it. We had no reservation and was told to take the table in front of the door which was really inconvenient. There were 3 other tables that were not occupied till we left around 8:00. Needs better customer service to represent our Mauritian culture!More

Nice little cosy and friendly restaurant. Has that typical island feel to it. Food is good. Has lots of traditional Mauritian options. Price is ok.

Good polite staffs, nice mauritian atmosphere, good price, numerous events organized throughout the year. Mine bouille poulet oeuf, gateaux arouille the best. During the winter, boulette poisson, sao mai chayotte the best.

I travel a lot for work, and I always look for and eat at any Maurician Restaurant I can find. La Maison de Tatie is in a small stip mall setting on the south Shore of Montreal, in a suburban town called Brossard. The decor...is typical Maurician with lots of travel posters and littered with the four colors of the Island, Menue is extensive and the noodles for the mine is home made. The home made noodles is what tips this restaurant over the rest. Our group of 6 tried the mine frire poulet with extra shrip (and thr grilled shrimp were delectable). Vin d'ail, poisson salé and some soup wonton. All was like we were fresh as if we were on the beach at Flik en Flak. Wonderful and friendly staff, we are returning soon with friends from Ottawa. Gros merci Tatie, Beatrice et Mario...More

Heard about the restaurant and organized a drive to visit the place from Toronto, And the end result was amazing. A True representation of Mauritian food at its Finest with the typical Mine Frit, Vindaye Orite and the Hakien was out of this world.... Must...say that it was well worth the Trip.More

Made a interesting discovery, A Mauritius restaurant called La Cuisine de Tatie. I think the menu reprensent well the multicultural origins of the country. I would kill for a good curry and this place has it. I'm am not lying, the chicken was so tender...and delicious, I got goose bump with the first few bites. I tried the chicken fried noodles (home made noodles) great stuff! You can easily fill up your belly for $20.More
