Used to love this place, not after today.

We have been going to Breakfast Barn in Welland for breakfast most weeks fir over a year. Really missed it during shut down. Today changed that. Both mine and my husband's orders were wrong, as were nearly everyone else,s who came in while we were there. Waitress was apologetic but cook was downright rude. Check was wrong and cook's response was, well it's only a buck or so. That wasn't the point. Won't be back.

First visit man owner cooked food excellent perfect two days later women owner partner food over cooked.Eggs dry pea meal bacon burnt very disappointed. depends on cook period love the menu but please take care when cooking i want to eat.

First day after lockdown. Had breakfast and it was awesome. Real potatoes grilled. Eggs done perfectly. And five pieces of bacon, who does that? The coffee was so good I didn’t need any sweetener. Sandy had a toasted bacon sandwich and there was almost more bacon than bread lol. Can’t say enough good about the cook and our server. We were made to feel welcome. Thank you Peter and Leeann, for a pleasant, enjoyable, eating experience.

Great food and staff

My daughter, grandson and myself had a delicious breakfast here. Eggs Benedict, pancakes, eggs and everything else was well cooked and tasty. Waitresses were extra kind to my grandson and friendly to us.

NOT Wheelchair Accessible

Someone suggested the Breakfast Barn for lunch since it is across the street from the Welland Hospital. My sister is a patient there and is in a wheelchair. Was hoping to wheel her across the street for a nice visit and meal. Unfortunately, just found out that the restaurant is NOT wheelchair accessible. Very disappointed especially given the proximity to a hospital.

Huge potions!! Real homefries!! Wicked staff!!! Used to to come here before I even worked here abc absolutely LOVED IT!!! Best breaky in town

Stopped in for a bite to eat with a friend, food was awesome, huge portions, waitress was awesome and friendly, as well as the cook/ owner although he looks grumpy he is an awesome guy. Will definitely be back! Busboy was doing an awesome job as well! Keep up the friendly service nice to have for a change.

Great little spot with awesome food......love the stuffed french toast and the real potatoe home fries are to die for. It can get very busy as it not that large so either go very early or closer to closing. Wait Staff are friendly.

Don't get the homefries. Chocolate milk tasted expired she brought me OJ instead but I would have thought she would comp it considering. And the drink was almost half the price of $7 breakfast! They don't even take debit so I had to use atm $2.25 fee so my $7 breakfast was $15.25. For a student working minimum wage every penny counts!

Well it was our first time at this please Figured we'd try it out since the reviews on trip adviser were pretty good. I have to say I feel embarrassed for the Chef The coffee was cold Our homefries were burnt and tasted like they had been sitting in a steamtable for hours. My bacon was so burnt I couldn't eat it, like jerky. The pancakes were most definitely microwaved. Such an awful experience. The worst $30 his i've ever spent. Such a terrible experience and will not return.

This review will be short and sweet. I'm not a negative person but there isn't much good to say about this place . I ordered a hot turkey for lunch. It came on one slice of bread and not sure what the meat was...it didn't look or taste like a slice of turkey. The fries were very under cooked.... basically like thawed out frozen fries. I would of sent it back but we ordered take out for lunch at work. Maybe breakfast is better there but I will never be back to find out.

Small, Smokey, Greasy Spoon CASH ONLY

Took the family across the parking lot from the arena for breakfast. Upon entering you will definitely get hit with a thick greasy cloud. Bring a change of clothes if you're not headed straight home after breakfast, seriously. Standard fare, nothing special. Bacon was very undercooked, gyro meat was bone dry and the gravy is bland and tasteless. Wasn't a fan of this place. They only take CASH (serioulsy, who still carries cash?) but they have an ATM with a convenience fee. Wouldnt recommend or return.

Breakfast Barn is an O.K. Corral

Aside from the fact you pay extra for onions, which I'll never know why, it was a decent breakfast for the money. My eggs were done exactly how I requested. I find the decor a bit dull and the tables a bit sticky, but if you are looking to fill up without emptying your pocket, I'd give it a go.
