Great selection of food, good portions and excellent tasting

Great place to meet up with friends or an event. Lots of sitting room. Overlooks Rideau and they do have a summer outdoor patio to watch boats go through. Food selection is excellent and portion size will not have you leaving hungry. They make an incredible burger that is a must try. Nachos that are for the cheese lover and sandwiches that never leave you asking " where is the meat". The dinner menu is also something that should be tried. Booths are a bit small but there are plenty of tables and chairs to choose from. Don't take my word, go give it a try. The waitresses are alway ready to welcome you too. Lisa always has a smile on her face and wants you to have a pleasant experience along with the owner Dan.

The food - WOW!

As in a Seinfeld episode, the big salad. Their salads are huge and to die for. They don't fool around and you can order just their salad and won't walk away hungry or dissatisfied. Philly Steak sandwich was fantastic, the gravy with the poutine was so delicious and pea soup was amazing. Got a seat overlooking the river. Love this place. Service was great with 2 servers looking after the 4 of us. Worth a lunch there.

Best natchos ever!

Popped in for a munchie. Had the natchos and they were honestly the best natchos we’ve ever had (and hubby isn’t even a natcho fan. Our server was friendly and efficient. Watched the boats go by from the patio. Lovely afternoon. We’ll definitely be back!

Delightful place tucked away in a corner

Had we not stopped to do laundry after getting off the boat we wouldn’t have found this place. It was perfect with lots of choices and a rib special which was delicious. The servers couldn’t have been nicer.

Friday night out

Went to this little gem with a couple of locals and weren't disappointed. Great band, The Stool Pigeons, friendly staff, and a good meal all added up to fantastic night out. Food portions were huge and very good.A definite must try if you visit SF.

Local Sports Bar

Rob Roy's Pub is somewhat hidden being behind the Giant Tiger plaza and attached to the a hotel. The food is tasty mist nights but the pub really swings into gear when all the sports teams start to come in. Service is average during the day but naturally picks up when the teams arrive. Prices are fair for the value and the staff is very pleasant. it quiet and charming throughout the day and somewhat raucous in the evening when the dancing and music start.

We tried the potato skins with no salsa the chicken finger dinner and the clubhouse the food was tasty and portions where good a little wait for the food but worth it loved fresh cut fries

Go for the ribs

When three out of four in your party order the ribs and all say that they were good then this is what you should do. But me I'm a fried shrimp guy so I ordered the fried shrimp which I have to say were large and very good. The service and food were very good. The people were very friendly. Good food at a good price, yummy for my tummy and my wallet. What more could you ask for.

First visit to this place, not a great appearance from the outside but great in the inside and a good patio Service was great, food was good Patio was nice and quiet, good view of the water Good selection of mainly domestic and some import beer, not much offering in craft beer Overall good pub and I recommend it

Amazing food

We spent the weekend at the Econolodge and ate at Rob Roy’s for dinner and lunch. Amazing portion size with great price. I highly recommend the chicken parmigiana. Lightly breaded chicken was very tasty.

Great Food.
