Gerbos is the main restraunt that people go to in Smiths Falls. It has been around for over 40 years and is considered the main meeting place in Smiths Falls area.. From casual to fine dinjng Garbo's always delights its customers with exception cusine and...freindly service. It is also known for serving up the finest pizza around. Many years ago this was THE place for dinner in the Falls, Gawd have things changed. Rude staff, when we arrived was eventually told by a very rude server, “you can sit wherever the hell you want”. Soup course had no flavour, the meat sauce...was microwaved, pasta was cold. When asked about a wine list, her answer, “we’ve got red or white”. Looking around it was obvious the place hasn’t been properly cleaned for a very long time. When leaving, she made sure we understood the tip function on the terminal. It’s sad, used to be great, now I can’t really fathom how the heck they retain a licence to operate. Don’t stay away.....RUN Away!More

We went there last weekend and the place was quiet which would normally raise red flags but after checking it out it was a great decision to have a bite there. Washrooms clean and smell good, kitchen door was open and it looked really clean,...the whole place was clean as well which were all positive nods to eating here. The food was simple diner meets greek but it was good honest food! Healthy portions and decent price (maybe a hair on the pricey side but nothing crazy) with good honest service (ours, Amanda, made our whole family feel welcome and took great care of us and our children!) I'd certainly recommend.More

Old school kind of restaurant, seems family owned and operated. Staff seemed happy to be there, which I can't say for a lot of places. Food was quick and good, Prices were average for the type of food. Overall a good experience, I would go...again.More

Terrible in every possible way! This restaurant was chosen for a large family dinner because we have frequented this place for many, many years for special occasions. We hadn’t been there for a long time and this visit was such a disappointment, like we were...in an entirely different restaurant. The food was extremely bland and the serving sizes have been reduced greatly. There was nothing included with the entrees...like soup, salad or buns. A few of us ordered pasta dishes and after asking for something on the side we were offered A SLICE OF WHITE BREAD (bagged store bought bread) with butter. We asked if we could get at least get a bun and we were told the buns they used were “recalled,” even though one of the guests with us had garlic bread...MADE ON A BUN!!! One of the orders was wrong and the person who ordered it was basically told that she (the waitress) ordered the wrong thing but proceeded to put the plate with the wrong food in front of the guest and walked away. A replacement order was offered AFTER the guest had eaten the food. I assume she knew that the guest wouldn’t want to wait for the correct order after eating an entire plate of food. ( FYI, only reason the guest didn’t insist on waiting for her correct order in the first place is because she was very hungry and didn't want to start her meal after we had all finished.) I ordered two drinks that were never brought to me. I just gave up trying. My family has been going to this restaurant for decades and there wasn’t one person who didn’t have a complaint. The owners are clearly trying to cut corners and it is very obvious in the service and the quality of the food. We will NEVER go there again!!!More

We always book Ger-BO's for large gatherings with friends. When organize work gatherings staff always request Ger-bo's. Great pizza and pasta

This restaurant has great pizza, especially our favorite Pep and cheese, they also have a good selection of Greek dishes. Drinks are very reasonable and staff very friendly, easy access off the main street of Smiths Falls.

They have bein in busy for a very long time, the son is now running it with the help from his mom and dad who's still work there with all staff. They make the best pizza in town and its made in front of the...door you come in. They get great business thru out the day and night, and prices are pretty good. Now of what I hear the other plates they serve are really good, but I'm a big fan of their pizzas so that's what I always get. If you do go try the pizza and let me know what you think.More

For all of our family events, we usually go to Ger-Bo's as the quality is consistent and prices are fair. They can accommodate groups of 10 to 15 (with advanced notice) and always greet us with a smile.

Ate dinner there this week, worst fish and chips I have had in a long time. The garden salad was such a waste of money, a little bit of iceburg lettuce, one piece of tomato and one piece of cucumber, certainly not worth 4.25. Will...not be back for awhile if at all...More
