Golden Court (黄金阁）should RENAME itself as A PILE OF GOLDEN POO!!!💩 I honestly wish that I could give 0 STAR for their food. They can't even make vegetables without burning them, even with lots of oil!!! Meat was not fresh at all!! They tried to...cover the unfresh food with tons of sauce, oil, and MSG.😔 Their meat was either too hard or too soft too. Sigh.... Besides the food, their customer service is also very terrible. Their staff either keep bothering you or completely ignore you.😔 Staff were arrogant most of the time. This type of horrible customer service is definitely BELOW AVERAGE among all restaurants, and yet they market themselves as an expensive fine dining restaurant.😬 By the way, they locked their private washroom and their explanation was that they are afraid customers might smoke inside it, but their staff smoke right in front of the main restaurant entrance ALL THE TIME!!! 😑 Please do yourself a favour and avoid this PILE OF GOLDEN POO 💩 (黄金阁) at all cost!!! You can find many other nice restaurants in the area with much better food and customer service such as Casa Victoria Fine dining and banquet( 紫爵金宴), Yu Seafood (渔膳房), The One Fusion Cuisine (聚龍軒), My Wonderful Kitchen (米芝莲), Crown Prince fine dining and banquet (紫京盛宴), etc.More

We have tried several restaurants for dim sum and Golden Court definitely made an impression. Great variety, very tasty and excellent service.

I went with my husband to dine with my sister brother in law and their two teenagers. Service was great and the food was very good quality. It is a bit more costly than other dimsum restaurant howeveryou get what you pay for.

Million times came here for dim sum, waiter service is good, my love is called sticky rice bun, the fried noodle is dry and yummy

A bit pricy. Mainly Chinese clientele and they are not exactly set to serve non-Chinese. But the food is excellent.

Do not go to this restaurants. An unethical business controlled by rude staff. Not sure what the owners are thinking...Especially the hostess Mable who humiliates customers.

You will only get a table if you bribe them with money. We went there for Dim Sum around the Chinese New year and we didn't know you had to hand them a red envelope with money to be able to get a table. We...made reservations ahead of time but still waited over an hour before we were seated. The hostess kept giving away tables to people who hand her red envelopes. I wanted to leave but my guests wanted to stay because we had waited for so long already and they were hungry. There was 7 of us and we spent around $170 for dim sum so we weren't holding back but we will never spent another $1 there again given that we know they don't treat their patrons fairly. It was a chosen spot for our family before but I think I will spend my money elsewhere where they respect they paying customers. Shady business.More

Golden Court is a spectacular dining room, seemingly set for a banquet with linen table cloths and golden chair covers. The extensive menu of Dim Sum (meaning to touch your heart) offers a tremendous variety of colour, taste and texture. Service was quite good considering...that this massive restaurant was jam packed. The squid tentacles were superb. The shrimp rolls were delicate; although the dried shrimp rolls were heavy and left largely uneaten. The fried eggplant with shrimp paste is a winner.More

Dim sum was quite good. The octopus tentacles were excellent as were the large shrimp dumplings. The braised short ribs with black bean could have been meatier. the sui mai and chu chow dumplings were good. Service was OK, but never a smile. Prices are...reasonable.More

The service in this restaurant is poor. Staff are unfriendly, look unhappy and grumpy. Food is not great. Our BBQ pork baked bun taste off. Chilli sauce is not as thick, as if it has been watered down. My daughter and friend said that the...dim sum is the worst that they have tasted. This restaurant has typical dim sum dishes and has limited number of dishes relative to other dim sum places. The orders took some time to get to our table probably because of the number of guests currently dining. The servers also made mistakes with our...orders, one with marking the tab incorrectly for the size of the order and another marking the tab with an order not yet received. Both have been corrected though. The atmosphere and decor are mostly with golden theme and the place is relatively clean.More

Overall the food is acceptable, not the best! But found one of the waiter is very rude! Why? Let me explained why. At the end we couldn't finish the food and asked for the little container politely. Waiting for a while and he turned around...and just threw the container in front of me. very rude manner! ! However other waitress noticed that and apologized to us. I hope this unprofessional manner should not happen again.!!More
