My wife and i were staying in Parry Sound for a 3 day course and wanted to enjoy the dining in the area. We had researched other fine dining but came up short with good food, wine and atmosphere. We went to the Log Cabin...Inn our first night and truly enjoyed the specials from appetizer to salad to main course. We went to another local craft brewery our second night and did not sit down to order after looking at the menu and surroundings. We went back to the Log Cabin Inn and enjoyed another wonderful evening. We got to know the owner/staff and felt very comfortable and confident. We enquired of others for recommendations for other places to go and no one was too helpful and so back to the Log Cabin Inn for our last evening. The food, service and atmosphere continued to be great and we had no repeats except for seafood bisque soup and caeser salad because they were so good! The Log Cabin Inn is highly recommended and we will make a point of going back again - when and if we are in the area.More

Beautiful place. Food was very tender but, it lacked flavour. Tables around us were served bread in a basket while looking at menu, but not us. Apple strudel for dessert lacked flavour and the apples weren’t cooked. We were not offered coffee or tea. Waited...20 minutes for the bill and decided to walk up to counter. Waitress gives me the terminal to pay the amount without even giving us the bill. No mints, or a thank you from her. $48 for pan seared halibut that was tasteless, $34 for very tender 9oz prime rib, but also tasteless.More

We held my wedding rehearsal dinner at the log cabin Inn. We couldn’t have asked for better service, food and ambiance. It was for a party of 16, we had the back room private to ourselves and my guests raved about the food and service....5 plus stars!!!More

For the last 30 years we have been going to the Log Cabin for meals. Our experience has always been very good. The food (seafood risotto is my favourite), the staff and the ambience is just perfect. A real cottage treat!!!!!

We have been coming to log cabin restaurant for so many years, more than 17 years. Rustic lovely comfortable atmosphere. Unpretentious, clean and warm. The meals are always carefully prepared using the best ingredients. Delicious classic fine dining without the fuss. Kathy the owner is...gracious and A phenomenal host. My wife and I decided to try The Log for dinner. The name says it all for us. Disappointed with our meals. Wife had vegetable stir fry and I had the Moroccan stew. All you could taste was soya sauce in the stir fry. The...stew wasn’t too bad but they charged me an extra $10 to put a few small pieces of chicken. I suppose I could have asked before but who would think a few small pieces would be that much. $35 for a bowl of stew. Could have had a $10 oz steak for that. The atmosphere was awful. We felt like we were at the early bird special for retirees.More

We had the opportunity to visit my favorite restaurant tonight . Once again our meals were fabulous. My husband normally orders prime rib but tonight he tried the chefs special Veal Chop. He wasn't disappointed. Absolutely enjoyed it. All of oure meals were delicious. Highly...recommend the Seafood Risotto, Filet Mignon, and another of the Chef's pasta specials. We couldn't have enjoyed our dinner without Cathy and the rest of the staff. Thanks again.More

We had our wedding reception here, and the food was exceptional, the staff and service were too! Planning the reception was easy and stress free. Kathy, Laurie and staff were all very helpful in the planning process and very accommodating. I would highly reccomend them...for Weddings and other events (small or large) Rooms are also very large, clean and well taken care of. (One large cabin split with two rooms)More
