Food was very good, highly recommend the Morroccan chicken. Wine list was good as well. Their free salsa and hummus app is kind of strange, both salsa and hummus were sweet, I found it very off putting. But other than that a good spot to...More

Heard good things about this restaurant. Food was good but quantities very small. Had a rice dish that was very tasty but so little rice. I think they concentrate more on trying to be unique and having an attractive plate than providing a decent portion....skimping...More

Hi Brian, Thanks for taking the time to review us. I'm sorry you were disappointed with the size of your meal, we absolutely DO NOT care more about presentation than providing a decent portion, and I'm quite surprised by this review. I don't know if...More

I have never had a bad meal at The Explorers and the service is usually bang-on. However, the entertainment last night was worthy of a comment here. Eight of us showed up for dinner at 8pm. The band was sitting at the bar. They were...More

This restaurant is a jewel!! The menu is in the top 1% of all I have reviewed worldwide. You will not find a better wine list. And to top it off the service is excellent.

Because we recently moved to the area & unfamiliar with local / good restaurants, we decided to utilize Tripadvisor for reviews. The Explorer's Cafe had an abundance of positive reviews; which prompted us to attend there. We were not disappointed....as everything was great. We also...More

Some meals outstanding - whitefish- and others just so-so. I would not particularly recommend the curry dish. Service was prompt and friendly. Banging door to the patio was distracting.

The couple who own this place are lovely people. Great food and always busy with good service too. A uniquely decorated place off the beaten path hidden away that is well worth the trip for dinner. Reminds me of independent eclectic Toronto fine dining and...More
