I've been going to Super Shawarma since they opened - and also for several years to the previous store they ran in Waterloo. The food flavors, quality of service, honesty, smiles, and drive to provide the best have made me a loyal customer. My favorites...are the shawarma salad, shawarma plate, shawarma poutine, and shawarma wraps are my favorite choices, and if you go on the right day of the week, you might find one of these on special! The food they prepare is fresh and full of flavor - they even make their own hot sauce (a family secret recipe), and their own hummus, which is the best I've ever had. Highly recommended!More

Picked up a couple of shawarmas, a side of hummus and some French fries and I have to say that everything tasted great. The shawarmas were a decent size, the ingredients looked and tasted fresh, the side of hummus and fries were also very good....I also liked the service. We dropped in ... there was no line-up or anything and we were out in less than 5 minutes. The guy who served us was fast and very efficient. Will definitely come back for a bite.More

The food is great and the people are nice. Great place to grab a bite on the run, to take home or eat in. One of my favorite shawarma places in the cities.

First off, you get a good value for your money. $7.50 for a chicken shawarma and it was pretty big. And $4 for a large baklava, also a pretty good price. Idid not like their toppings. They had soggy tomatoes, scant onions and questionable looking...pickles. I was hungry so I asked for all the toppings and that was not a good decision. They tasted like they’d been sitting around for a while. I had to pick a lot of it out when I was eating it. Also, for the size of the pita bread, the filling was not enough. They also didn’t hav a whole wheat pita, which alone takes off a star for me. The chicken itself was pretty good though as was their garlic sauce and hot sauce. This coupled by my hunger helped me eat the whole shawarma. Would I go again? I might go back but I would definitely look at the toppings before I ordered anything.More

When they opened we used to go quite often The owner is a fantastic person who gives great service. Soon after the staff was different. I got min amount of meat, told him no hot sauce and was almost sick as we took out our...order and when I had a bite, I realized he had added hot sauce!! I did not drive back because it was too late. The taste of the chicken is amazing though but too bad is not enough. If you go to Halal Shawarma in Highland too, you get doble size the wrap and doble meat for the same price. It is almost for 2 personsMore

I really like the shawarma here, I think the reason why it's so tasty is the sauce they use. It really puts a great taste to the whole shawarma, and in every bite. Their vegetarian options are great, too. Their hummus alone is worth trying....The place is always kept clean, even during the winter time.More

Went for first time for something quick. The chicken shawarma was very good. All 4 of us had the same. We also had a side of falafel. Very good as well. The service was nice and also very helpful since I am in no way...an expert. Will definitely go back.More
