Great food. Staff work hard but it's a very inefficient place. They have no dedicated bartender and the worst place to be if you want a drink is sitting at the bar. Sometimes there are 5 people e behind the bar scrambling and tripping over each other and other times nobody. There all paying attention to there own tables. That makes sense but if you had a dedicated bartender(like all establishments that are busy have) people can concentrate on there table... Aka good service. Good food good Unorganized chaotic service. It shouldn't be this stressful for staff. I stay away when it's busy. To stressful to watch. So Unorganized

Excellent visit! We had a late dinner, and knew that we were probably bumping into their closing time, but they were absolutely happy to let us enjoy the visit, and didn't make us feel rushed at all. Everyone enjoyed their meal. The food was prepared fresh and hot. The staff was great!

Both of us had the Walleye dinner - great food! Local walleye that is caught nearby. On the more expensive side, but worth it. Neat bar area to eat - however can't sit inside of the restaurant currently.

Well the last 2 times I phoned in to reserve a spot they did not have it written down I even called in twice and asked to make sure they Mark in as last time they forgot
Then we waited for 10 minutes to get a spot. It was Monday and it was all you can eat ribs on June 29. 2020
Well I had 3 ribs when first served but no one came back to ask if I wanted any more until we sat there for 20 minutes waiting
Also asked for ketchup for the fries and nothing came so I walked up to the counter and requested some. Still nothing then finally asked a gal again for some . It finally arrived but by that time my fries were mostly eaten and the rest were cold
I still left a 10% tip but only because of them being shut down for so long due to Covid
I will definitely not be heading back any time soon and will find another restaraunt that will appreciate my25% tip

We were so excited to be able to go back to the Log Cabin Tavern. Understood that we would be eating in the screen patio. As that is what they told us when my husband made the reservations
Instead, we were seated outside. It wasn't too bad, had some mosquito action.We sat down, server told us we would get our cutlery. Which was ok. Another server came by, took our drink order. Pretty simple, waters for the 3 of us. Came by quick enough, took our order, which was a small salad, and 2 orders of wings and 3 other appys. Were told again that we would get napkins and cutlery etc. Our 2 orders of wings came out and the mushrooms. This time we asked for cutlery and napkins and plates. Waited for 5 minutes and got nothing. Others around us were getting their food and drinks and cutlery. We started eating before this food got cold. We threw the bones on the table, finished everything. Waitress came by and said sorry, I put a rush on your other food. What? Why bother at this point. It all should have come out at once. Still didn't get cutlery or napkins.....at that point we just told her to charge us for the food we ate and forget the rest. Will not be back. It has always been hit and miss there for us and that's it. We will not be back. We are done. If I could give this a negative star, I would. So disappointed.

Had a beer and a plate of chicken wings. The wings were good but a bit pricey at $17.50 for 6 wings. Also had the bloomin onion. The onion was fantastic - will return for that. Great staff in a friendly environment.

Lunch visit. Our first visit.
One beef dip and one clubhouse sandwich. Both meals were very tasty and well presented. The cornerstones salad with the beef dip was particularly good.
The applecrisp was sinfully good.
Would we come back ? Absolutely!

If you sit at the bar don't expect to be served. Staff are not trained to watch for people that require another drink or something added to there food.

Was our favorite place to bring visitors... Made reservation same day for 8. Surprised we got in, but now feel that this restaurant is overbooking and should have said they were full.. No table available when we got there. Ended up with 3 round tables pieced together on patio for our group which made it uncomfortable seating for supper. Reservation was for 6:45. Meals came at 8:30! We did get our drinks in that time frame but my favorite Caesar seemed just tomato juice and rimmer, Food ok but some of our guest's patience had run thin and not enjoyable experience.
Have to commend the staff working in this environment but they can only do it for so long... unfortunately they get the brunt of the unhappy customers. With the difficult times in our workforce need to find a balance to value both workers and customers... Tough world out there.

"Veggie chicken wrap" made with real chicken...ordered take out tonight and after puking for a good 10mins I was able to write this review .. absolutely disgusted

unfortunatly our conversation was cut short and was not able to get your name or number to figure out what had happened to your order not that you were really interested in that as you said you were going to post on social media . i was in the kitchen and your order was 2 honey dill wraps, one was made with veggie tenders that is plant based that look like chicken fingers and the other was a regular one/ i think that they were probably packaged wrong and you got the regular one. i'm sorry that this happened , we do try our best to accomadate all sorts of food requests, weather they are vegan, gluten or allergies

Have been to this restaurant a number of times, usually for the Prime Rib. It is excellent. Also had our Christmas Lunch and had the walleye and it too was great. Highly recommended.

I stopped in here to grab a takeout lunch and loved it. I got the rueben sandwich and sweet potato fries. The hostess was very sweet. There was a large group (10-12) of young boys who had just finished eating and were paying individually. She was very kind and spoke to the boys who agreed I could bump in front of the ones who were still paying so that my food wouldn’t get cold. I really appreciated the kindness from all of them. I waited my turn but it was such a sweet gesture from them all. The sandwich was delicious and I’ll be going back again.

This is a great place to go for a casual meal. It is usually busy so if you don't want to wait it is best to make reservations. I have eaten here several times and have always enjoyed the food I have ordered from the menu. The ribs are excellent. Sometimes the service can be a bit slow but if you are not in a hurry it makes for a relaxing meal.
