During the last few weeks it has been difficult to find restaurants outside of fast food chains open for meals along Hwy 17 in northeastern, northern and northwestern Ontario. In Kenora there are a number of options and we appreciate businesses who are willing to...open, who are providing protection for their employees and customers and providing food options. We discovered HoJoe Coffee and Eatery during an online search. We stopped by for breakfast and had the breakfast pannini and a large mocha coffee. The sandwich was really tasty, though a bit messy, so be prepared. The mocha coffee was also very good. Reasonable prices. Good COVID-19 practices. The actual hours of operation currently differ from those indicated on the website. Pre-order by phone and call at pick-up.More

We have visited this coffee shop during the September long weekend for several years! We enjoy their Argyle and our boys like the frozen hot chocolate. They also serve sweet treats and sandwiches. It’s very family friendly. My only complaint is that they are only...open Saturday but closed Sunday and Monday of the long weekend!More

Very good panini and a cafe mocha! Nice little place with friendly service. Place is open during the day and is a coffe shop with small dishes, mostly sandwiches/ paninis to eat.

This is a quaint independent coffee shop with good lunch eats as well as a nice spot to hang out and get some work done. Recommend.

On our way out of Kenora we decided to drop in for a snack to go, we were glad we did! I ordered an Argyle (I think!) it was mint tea bag steeped in chocolate milk, and I ordered it chilled with ice. So refreshing!...I also got a cranberry white chocolate cake that was light & tasty! Only 2 employees around noon so it was not a fast stop for us but we weren’t in much of a hurry. Cute venue!More

Pay it forward board is a scam. It is mandatory to buy another drink to put back on the board if you want to take a free one. Ridiculous. Isn’t that the whole point of a pay it forward board? To be generous and spread...kindness without it needing to be repaid?More

Since moving to Kenora they've become my favourite coffee shop. Located downtown with lots of parking out front. Yummy coffee and good lunch eats

A bit crowded, but decent coffee and great tomato cheese sandwich. There is no internet access and just a few tables to sit. I guess they have more take away customers. The service is very friendly and the stuff very helpful.

Every small town needs a great coffee shop; and Kenora has one. I love to stop here for coffee when I am in the area. Today's experience was just as good as any other time I have stopped in. Staff are friendly and make good...coffee, people in the place tend to be friendly, and I love that they have decent bathrooms.More
