What a refreshing experience

What a refreshing experience in Huntsville. Recently moved to the area and discovered Allora restaurant tonight. We had the tomato basil soup, bruschetta, beef carpaccio and the Picante pizza with Buffalo Mozzarella (for the lactose free people out there) Here is the beauty in this place, the decor, the music, the servers and the cook as a team makes it happen... the cherry on top... the food was great! We found our new spot that we were looking for. Already booked next Friday! Treat yourself and book a table

Great consistent quality and service

The two things that are hard to find these day. Allora delivers. Great atmosphere with attention to detail in a relaxed setting. Casual but not sloppy. The food is amazing 😉 One quickly learns that pizza making is an art form not just food on the plate. Keep up the good work!

Favoloso Ristorante!

Thanks to the excellent reviews about Allora, we ate dinner here after spending the day in Algonquin. As soon as we walked into the restaurant, we could tell it was going to be something special, and it was. The two appetizers and three gourmet pizzas that the four of us shared, were perfectly prepared and absolutely delicious. Service was attentive, informative, and top notch!

The Pizza was sub-par

Was looking forward to dining out for the first time in a long time. We found this nice looking restaurant downtown Huntsville and thought we would check it out. All proper Covid protocols were being followed. We ordered the meatballs and beef carpaccio as an appetizer and three pizzas. The pizzas were shared amongst three of us. The beef carpaccio was fantastic. The meatballs felt very dense almost like there was too many breadcrumbs in there. The tomato sauce that they came in was tasty. All three pizzas were disappointing. For someone who frequents restaurants often and grew up on Italian cooking these pizzas were not cooked well. They lacked taste and sat very heavily in our stomachs. Neither myself or my two friends enjoyed the pizza :(

Great food, we chose 4 different plates and shared them between our party (of 4). They were great. Especially the Pizza, I can’t remember what it was called but it was Spicy and involved honey. Find it and order it. We also saw John Cleese there but I don’t think he’s a regular so no guarantees.

Outstanding Pizza, cocktails, and service

Went for an early dinner as they are strictly limiting occupancy. Have an interesting cocktail menu, all of which that we tried were great. Had roast olives with grilled bread, polpette (meatballs), and a couple of different pizzas. All were excellent. Pizza crust maybe a little thicker than true Neapolitan, but still cooked properly. We didn’t try dessert, but the couple we were with said the lemon cheesecake was really good.

First visit for a couple’s special dinner out. Ambience was fabulous. Can I have your scrumptious leather couch by the door? Music was soothing. Lighting warm and inviting. There is also a bar along one side and a cute patio outside. Love the bud vases and candles along with the carafe of water for the table. Menu was small so it was easy to choose something quickly. We chose the beet salad, bruschetta, gnocchi, papperdelle al ragu and the gelato trio. We always share our meals between us so we can both try everything. Beet salad was fabulous and the whipped goat cheese was yummy. The hazelnuts and pea tendrils added the perfect amount of crunch and greens. Bruschetta was sooo fresh and delightful. A thicker sourdough may have made the ratios perfect. The gnocchi was a taste sensation unto itself. It helps that I love mushrooms and the sauce was dreamy with the house made dough. Papperdelle superb with tender beef and oh so soft pasta rolling off the tongue. We both don’t really care for tiramisu and so chose the gelato trio for dessert. So glad we did! Flavours were amazing and you can choose what flavour of ice creams you want. We chose hazelnut, vanilla and a stracciatella. All were phenomenal with my fave being the vanilla surprisingly. I would have liked to see something crunchy in the dessert bowl for presentation and flavour, like maybe a Pirouline Rolled Wafer. We had a great night and thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. Service was a little slow once it started getting busier toward the end of our meal but we forgave our server as she did say she was newish. Our gelato sat on the counter for quite a few minutes before she realized it. And we waited to settle our bill but she still deserved 20% and we were pretty darn pleased with the place! Will definitely return to try some different dishes. I keep thinking about the softness of those noodles on my tongue…

One the Gems in the Muskoka area

We chose this restaurant after reading good reviews about it. Are we ever glad that we went there. Absolutely delicious gourmet pizzas, soups and desserts. We started with the soup of the day which was carrots/apples with ginger, yum yum. Don’t you ever pass it. We shared a caprese salad and 2 pizzas; fungi and la carbonara. Absolutely delicious. We ended this adventure by ordering lemon meringue cheesecake…. It was a Woow :) This delicious food and wonderful treat were served to us by the wonderful Allison; very sweet and courteous lady with a nice smile. I strongly recommend this place and if we ever come back to Huntsville again, I will come back here.

Amazing food and service!

Such a special place! We came with friends to celebrate and the staff made it such a wonderful experience. We started with meatballs, roasted olives, caprese salad and beef carpaccio- amazing. We all shared 4 different pizzas and none disappointed. The staff were attentive and personable. Allora is our go to favourite in Huntsville!

I had the Meatballs, very good. The Bruschetta was great. Ordered Lasalsiccia pizza. Big disappointment, the crust was not likeable and the pizza was very sloppy, couldn't pick it up and hard to cut. It was awful, taste was good but that's all I can say. Very overpriced. Server was sweet.

Amazing Food

The atmosphere in this restaurant is amazing!! beautiful setup and the pizza oven is unreal. The cocktails and food were quick and nothing short of fabulous! The staff were all extremely friendly and go out of their way to make sure your experience is perfect. The flavors were amazing and the desserts are to die for.

When in Huntsville, this is the place.

Friends had recommended Allora and talked up their fantastic pizzas and meatball appetizer. We made a reservation wondering if it was necessary in Huntsville in November. Glad we did as every table was busy. The food was great, server was top notch, the restaurant has a wonderful ambience on the Main Street. I can’t think of one thing that wasn’t perfect. Highly recommend Allora.

What a Find

What a find. My wife and I had only one night in Huntsville, and we are glad that we found Allora. The heater made outdoor dining comfortable, when combined with a well made martini. We shared two appetizers - meatballs and beef carpaccio - both were excellent. This was followed by a pesto bianco pizza. It isn't New York, but then NY could learn from Allora (so says this New Yorker). Dessert - don't miss the tiramisu. Excellent dinner, excellent food, excellent service.

Hidden gem

Tried to find a restaurant on a Saturday night in Huntsville late October. Everything was fully booked, but Allora did everything they could to accommodate us. Great menu, we really enjoyed our pizza’s (parma ham and the white cheese and pesto). Glad we didn’t take an appetizer, the pizzas are quite generous. Service was fantastic!!!

The Best Meal in Huntsville

We have waited for Covid-19 to allow for patio sitting. I wanted to experience the food at the location and not on the road. The food, service, drinks were fantastic! All worth waiting for and we would highly recommend. Cannot wait to be able to sit inside it looks fantastic that brown leather couch is mine before a show at the Algonquin theatre with a glass of wine maybe some meatballs. We tried everything and not one item disappointed! Can’t wait until our next date night see you then Allora!
