So glad we came by. Got a patio table right away (at 5pm on a Friday). They do not take reservation. Food is good, I had flatbread pizza while my husband had this port button with dip. We seldom finish our serving, but this time...we did. Well priced, good value. Our server was good, too bad did not get her name. The patio sitting is good view to the water. The whole atmosphere is amazingly wonderful.More

We had great service (server#000020) and the food was very good. We have always had a good experience at this restaurant. Atmosphere is lovely. The owner and staff have done a great job during COVID. It’s nice you can sit inside or out. A lot...of the inside seats still have a view of the water.More

Lots of fun eating here. The burgers are amazing and one can dine inside or out. Friendly staff and nice location.

The food was terrible! My wife had the mussels and it had so much salt it was inedible. I had a sandwich with French onion soup and the salt level was beyond belief. Despite telling the waitress nothing was done. I would not recommend any...eat at this restaurant.More

During these COVID times the restaurants are short staffed and the place fills up quickly so get there early and get your name on the list. The food is very good and fresh. Though it took a while to get a table, once inside (or...outside on the terrace) the service was fast and friendly.More

Weekend trip to the Huntsville area... we did an early dinner Saturday evening at On The Docks - a multi levelled patio overlooking the water - a setting to die for! No complaints on that account. While the menu leans heavily to typical bar food,...there was variety enough to tempt us piscatarians. The 3 of us ordered 1 blackened fish sandwich, and 2 chimichanga wraps. In all instances you have a choice of 1 side which is a great change from the typical fries or "we'll see what we can substitute it for". There is a choice from 7 sides, so this was commendable. The 2 chimichangas were served, as requested, without meat and with lots of veggies. A decent albeit not huge size and definitely tasty. The blackened fish was merely adequate in size. Sorry, North American appetites would not be satisfied! The fish spicing was good, but was tarnished by the chef's heavy hand with the salt shaker. Back off dude! You should have quit while you were ahead!! 2 diners ordered the soup of the day as a side (veggie based, black bean soup) as their side which was very tasty - consensus there! The 3rd chosen side was kettle chips with French onion dip. This was also very tasty. The chips outlasted the dip which the server kindly replenished. There was no indication that there was a charge for this but a 99c charge appeared on our bill. My polite protestation did result in our server removing it without argument, but indicated (don't shoot the messenger hint hint) that the her boss had been on their case about charging for these. Given the prices such a courtesy should absolutely be at no charge! We also mentioned the chef's overuse injury with his/her saltshaker arm. While we did not make a big deal of it I guess I kinda expected that the management &/or server might follow up with a "thank you for the feedback / apologies" visit which did not happen. Maybe they were just super busy on the cusp of a Saturday evening, but a truly quality establishment (haute cousine as well as your local pub) would have followed up in some way. All the server said was she'd pass on the message to the chef / management. Would we return at some future date?! Maybe.... some of the food was very good, some not. The service was OK, the view outstanding. But to feel satisfied post meal, my advise is you order a starter or lubricate your stomach with a space filling liquid beverage with lots of foam. Either way, you'd find your bill more than you would otherwise have expected.More

If you are able to secure a water-side table and the weather is good, you’ll have a great view and great ambience. The cocktails were good but the food is just average and nothing was spectacular.

After seeing the most rediculous review with a 1 star review for not having fries intrigued me. As my wife and I were traveling from Northern back home to Southern Ontario needing to stop for lunch, I looked up their menu and was inspired with...their "‘no fry’ menu the pub is committed to serving delicious, fresh food, with plenty of variety" which is just what we were looking for. We had their NAV.CO Horns (which are like a little nacho burrito in cone form with sour cream and salsa dippers), which was pretty awesome, along with a chicken Cesar salad, Beef Dip with a Greek salad, and a Cesar Cocktail. The food was indeed impressive, and the Cesar was great. Our server Brooke, took very good care of us and was able to make great popular suggestions to the menu for our first time there and joke a bit with us. She truly made it a friendly and comfortable place to be. With this place being most excellent all on its own, their location has a phenomenal view of the river with boats coming and going with Paddle Boarders, Kayaks, and Canoes paddling on the calm water was truly awesome. I would highly recommend this place to anyone, especially if you haven't been... And if we end up back in Huntsville... We definetly plan on coming back. Listen... You can just keep scrolling past this review, but you made it this far.... So take my word on this... I am a hard person to impress... This place I feel has literally knocked it out of the park. If you dont try this place out... You will go home and be up all night wondering what you missed based on this awesome review! Thank you very much Brooke and the rest of the staff here, you guys are truly amazing, and have done an outstanding job here. And if you are upset that this place has no fries on their "no fry" menu... Don't give a 1 star review for that... That just makes YOU seem absolutely rediculous... Have a salad instead... It's healthier and better for you... Like the rest of their menu. This place is amazingly 5 STARS in my book. Go there now... Not hungry?... Go there for a drink... Not thirsty?... Go there anyway... Once you sit down and begin to enjoy the view, it won't take long for your mouth to start watering after smelling their fresh meals.More

We were in Huntsville and decided that it seemed like a good location. Food and service were average at best and slow. No kids menu. Wouldn't go back.

My wife and I had a good lunch at this popular waterfront restaurant. She had the large dish of shrimp tacos while I had the grilled vegetable wrap and both were great. The service was excellent and our experience was marred only by the very...loud music that blasted through the place.More

Not really. No kid menu. No kid booster seats or high chairs. I've taken my son on the patio over a weekend but they didn't cater well to children.

Hi there, Our lower patio IS dog friendly, however it will not be open until June most likely. Waiting for sunshine and the water levels to go down! Cheers!
