We were visiting the Huntsville area and wanted to sit outdoors near the water so we decided to visit On The Docks.
We're a family of 4 and ordered 4 burgers. My wife had a side salad and the rest of us wanted fries. No...fries though - the waitress told us they don't have a deep fryer!! So we were told we could have nacho or kettle chips. For drinks, it was a draught, 2 Cokes (they were out of ginger ale) and a water.
The Cokes were flat and weak. The Pub Burgers came with onion, tomato, lettuce and pickle - no condiments on the burgers, nor were any placed on the table. And the "kettle chips" were Lays regular potato chips which, because it was windy on their patio area, saw half of the chips blow off our plates onto the ground.
The waitress tried her best to be pleasant but it seemed she didn't want to be there.
We can't blame On The Docks for the wind but they're responsible for every other aspect of what was a horrible dining experience. I'm rarely compelled to write a review and very rarely post negative ones but this one is justified. And, to top it off, 4 crappy burgers with 3 of them having potato chips as sides, 2 flat, water-downed Cokes, a draught and a water came to $105.00!!!!
Avoid this place.More
