Pita Pit was at the forefront of the growing “fresh and healthy” eating revolution, when we opened the first Pita Pit in Kingston, Ontario near Queen’s University back in 1995. Pita Pit delivered what students, families and young professionals wanted but couldn’t find nearby; an affordable yet great-tasting fresh and healthy alternative to high-fat and high-carb fast food.

Location is good if staying at the Holiday Inn or Best Western. Nice and healthy menu. My pita could have used more tziziki sauce. My wife's salad bowl was bland.

Stopped in for lunch, line up moved quick. Service was swift and accurate. They have chips and difference dips out to sample whilst you wait. The latrines are clean. Not sure about Wi-Fi, but there is a pokemon gym across the street. Would I return? Yeah, cus there ain't much else in town, lol

Ww were staying at the hotel next door and after a long day we decided to grab a couple of pitas and eat while watching a movie. The girls were very personable and nice. The place was clean and the loaded pitas were delish. After a second full day of hiking we were back for round two. Really good and if in the area again we will go back.

Stopped in at the DQ next door but while we were eating our ice cream in the truck we witnessed 2 female Pita Pit staff outside their back door sharing a vape pen and spitting on the ground. Thoroughly disgusting, especially when the region is having higher rates of COVID. I will avoid this restaurant now.

Rude Service

Customer Service should be #1, especially when the customers arrive with smiles. We were very excited to be there, we had not been in a while. There was a man and a woman working. The man smiled and seemed nice, but the woman, who took our orders and did the toppings was rude. She rolled her eyes more than once, we felt like we were bothering her by being there. I was feeling embarrassed by her, she made me feel stupid because I could not hear her questions very well. We should have walked out, but to be honest, the food tastes so good we stayed.

Pita Pit - Exactly as always

If you have ever been to a pita pit - then there is nothing that will shock you about this one. Pita wraps are promptly prepared and filled with your choice of ingredients. Fast, Healthy-ish, and quite affordable.

Wish we had one in New Liskeard

Always a great treat to grab a Pita, great clean facility , great friendly staff always greeting with a hello and offering great suggestions .... Arrived at 12:15 and it was pack solid with a line up 10 deep but kept there cool process 6 at a time and worth the wait ... Fresh I ingredients nicely toasted and we where off on the road and it tasted as good as it look... Will drop in again for sure in the near future Keep up the great service well done Marc Fortier New Liskeard

Skimpy on the chicken!

I too noticed that they are cutting down on the toppings especially the meat. I ordered a southwest chicken pita & basically got an iceberg lettuce pita...service was great but for $13 i might go elsewhere next time!

Okay for a quick meal

I stopped by here for a quick dinner meal as I was staying at a nearby hotel. I ordered a small salad bowl with chicken souvlaki. I was able to choose my ingredients and they topped it with a small handful of grilled chopped chicken. The salad was okay. Clean place and friendly service.

Nicely run franchise

We grab a quick dinner here a few times a month. The franchise is always very clean and even up to just before closing which is often when we go, the toppings are full and fresh. The young staff are very helpful in guiding you thru your choices. If you have never had a pita sandwich it is worth the visit. I personally love the Gyros.

Where's the beef!?

They used to make the best sandwich around. I don't know if we hit an off night but on our last visit the wrap was almost entirely missing the beef / chicken! If they are cutting back, watch out cuz its way overpriced for a veggie sandwich.
