Comfortable, cozy atmosphere with fireplaces. Service was excellent throughout our entire meal. The crispy cauliflower was outstanding, rack of lamb cooked to perfection, and the pan seared trout, delicious!!! There is live music that can be enjoyed closer to the bar area.... with a softer ambiance at some of the other tables. Desserts are homemade.... cheesecake and creme brulee outstanding.... More

This vibrant tourist area is populated with most of the big chain restaurants & numerous pubs that serve the typical camaraderie noise and ample bar food.......but where does one go to get really good fine dining, & premier service at a reasonable price. The Hunt Club is a definite classy gem enabling a superb outing and quiet experience away from... More

We discovered this restaurant in the summer as they offered $15 al you could eat muscles and bring your own wine with 0% corkage. That has changed now with a special on Wednesday night offering a veal special with still the 0% corkage on your own wine... if you like going out for dinner at a reasonable price but still... More

I visit The Huron Club with a friend for lunch at least once a month. The fact that we return frequently says it all. The menu is creative. Last week I had the Ahi Tuna BLT - delicious rare tuna with an avocado sauce. Solid wine list - my Chianti was enjoyable. The service is always first rate. Very quiet,... More

Quaint and vibrant little restaurant in downtown Collingwood. Menu was limited but the food we ate was delicious. If you like a little spice, definitely have the cauliflower appetizer - it was amazing. I had the spaghetti vongole as my main and it was really flavorful though the portion was a tad bit small. The service was very good. There... More

Friday early lunch, following a function down town, 3 folks looking for some eats and conversation. We all agreed on the Sammich Theme ... 1 Beemster & Brie/1Chicken Foccacia/1Veal Parm / shared side of fries ... These folks do lunch right. Staff was excellent. We had a really pleasant lunch. Highly recommended!

Food was excellent. Great "upscale" bar atmosphere for over 40 crowd. Everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. Good service. Reasonably priced food and drinks.

Had lunch with family here on a Sunday afternoon, eight of us. Service was prompt and timely for drink orders and food orders. We all had something different, everyone loved their meals. Burgers are huge, salads with meals are large as well. I had wings as an appetizer, they were not the small ones you get at some restaurants, tasted... More

We ordered 5 appetizers (califlower, chick pea batons, calamari, soup, tuna salad) plus entrees (lamb chops was delish) and everything was so savoury! Hints of indian flavours scattered through many dishes.

Description
The Huron Club embodies what Collingwood is all about. It's a family business that has that family touch. Every diner's experience is personal. The staff are engaging and friendly, the food is fabulous, and the prices are superb for what you get. Not to mention the local live music (available 5 days a week, Wed-Saturday nights, as well as over Sunday brunch), creating that comfy-cool atmosphere. It's casual, but yet, you'd be right at home for a special occasion like a birthday dinner or anniversary, and definitely suitable for a business lunch or dinner. They also have a beautiful events gallery upstairs for functions of any kind (complete with multimedia equipment for presentations). Their patio is a summer highlight and the building itself has such an interesting history and feel to it (as one of Collingwood's beautiful heritage buildings). Overall, a wonderful place to go for any occasion, big or small.
