Enjoyed the meal. Meat plater appetizer was delicious. Fish and chips were good and the coleslaw had an interesting and good taste. Dessert was great, tried all but one, salty caramel icecream was interesting. Peanut butter mousse with the blueberry topping was delicious. Will definitely return.

As luck would have it, we dined here on a lovely Saturday evening with near perfect weather. While we had a reservation, we were offered outdoor seating on the patio with the option to go back to our indoor table if we changed our mind. We stayed on the patio, music just right and no too much street noise. We... More

I found this restaurant just doing a Google search but I am so lucky I did. It is a great looking place inside that you feel comfortable in a suit or in jeans and a t-shirt. The service was great and the food was very good.

After a bad experience elsewhere my wife and I tried The Huron Club. Fast service good chicken wings and nice atmosphere. Have some nice items on the menu and a great wine selection. I will be back

“Old faithful”, that's how I think of the Huron Club restaurant and bar in Collingwood. We have been there a number of times and have never been disappointed. Keep in mind that all excellent restaurants are busier during the peak tourism times in winter and summer. I think one of the keys to success of any business is consistency. In... More

Nice surroundings, only 3 lunch menu choices, had to wait 10 minutes for the food to get from the warmer to our table, chef rang bell 3 times & as there was hardly anyone in the restaurant and 3 servers on it was sad. Food was too greasy, salad not edible. The server was confrontational. Never going back- this was... More

Our meal was fanastic! We were very stuffed when we left. The bread that they served us had a nice oil and balsamic dip with garlic and roasted red peppers. The appetizer we had was chickpea frites. They were really good. I had the special penne pasta which was great. Too much to finish. My husband had the mushroom soup... More

Food was good but the restaurant is extremely noisey. I don't expect to have to yell my diner order to the server. They allow people to stand around tables so people end up standing almost on top of you when your trying to eat. You get more space and a lot less noise from the beaver and the bull dog... More

Hi Andrew, We're curious if you sat in the lounge where we feature (FREE) live music starting at a reasonable hour of 9pm (8pm on week nights) specifically to allow for several hours of quiet dining beforehand. Admittedly, with great local musicians, come guests who want see them - and that sometimes means people standing in the bar area if... More

I have experienced this restaurant many times from bar menus to a pairing night to Sunday dinner and the chef is an excellent cook and brings quality food to the Huron Club. Our furnace broke down and we went there on a Sunday evening and for $25.00 we had an excellent roast beef dinner with Yorkshire pudding, I left full... More

Let's start with dessert, the home made Sea Salt Carmel Ice Cream was amazing and worth the visit itself! Sunday is prime rib night perfectly cooked, and the Icelandic cod very enjoyable! Highly recommended!

The Huron Club embodies what Collingwood is all about. It's a family business that has that family touch. Every diner's experience is personal. The staff are engaging and friendly, the food is fabulous, and the prices are superb for what you get. Not to mention the local live music (available 5 days a week, Wed-Saturday nights, as well as over Sunday brunch), creating that comfy-cool atmosphere. It's casual, but yet, you'd be right at home for a special occasion like a birthday dinner or anniversary, and definitely suitable for a business lunch or dinner. They also have a beautiful events gallery upstairs for functions of any kind (complete with multimedia equipment for presentations). Their patio is a summer highlight and the building itself has such an interesting history and feel to it (as one of Collingwood's beautiful heritage buildings). Overall, a wonderful place to go for any occasion, big or small.
