Crab legs and beat salad then followed by the Dutch loaf for dessert. So yummy and the service was spectacular. The place was very busy because they were a band, A little less dressing and this would have been a perfect meal

This restaurant is in a parade near Cranberry Mews on the outskirts of Collingwood. We went and were not expecting that much but were surprised. Great waitress who told us what which fish were available and made good recommendations. We had either haddock or cod...and everyone was satisfied and full. No band on when we were there but when next visiting my son, we will go here again. Better than most of the downtown Collingwood restaurantsMore
This restaurant is in a great location in Collingwood. Great outdoor patio. Servers very pleasant and welcoming. The band last night was terrific and they really know how to work the crowd. Great music as well! Now for the food - Halibut fish was good....Catfish was not tasty at all. Just fish covered with batter no spices at all. The portion of french fries is huge but taste horrible. Give less fries but make sure they are tasty!! Don't order the poutine. The tasteless fries with roast gravy! What happened to poutine gravy!!! How can you make tasteless fries!!! The chef needs to take a little more time in the preparation of the meals. Not sure we will return soon ... Sad!!More
Great service and excellent food. The waitress informed us as we entered that the kitchen would be closing shortly. Therefore, we didn't take a lot of time making our selections and were not disappointed with the service and the food.
The food is simple but we’ll prepared and good Waitress was really kind The atmosphere is really nice and the music too. I recommend it for a lunch or a dinner with concert !
First of all, forget the address - Keith Street is really hard to find. Look for the Cranberry Mews and you will find them. We got very lost looking for Keith Street. But we still got there in time for dinner and the music. My...friend ordered the Seafood Chowder, which she said was delicious. I had the fish tacos, which seemed tasty but were very overpriced - $20 for two small tacos is a little crazy. And I think they gave me indigestion the next day - I'm not certain. We shared the garlic bread, which was competent. The local colour was amazing - they drew a great crowd and everyone seemed to know anyone. And the live band was good - High Court County. Solid combo. But the music was way too loud and the instruments drowned out the vocals. We could not stay for more than one set and then had to leave. We also were a little annoyed by the enormous TV behind the bar. Service was good. Luckily we got there before they got swamped, because they admit at the door they are understaffed. So if loud bars are your thing - and golf on the television - this is your place. It isn't ours anymore. If I was twenty years younger, perhaps...More
the worst place ever. waited 2 hours for our freaking food. not once did the server come to our table to update us on what tf was going on. literally avoided our table. 1.5 hours in still waiting she comes and says she promises our...food is next up to be brought out. also, tnx to collingwood's greatest taxi service, we were on a tight sched and knowing everything takes a century in this place we asked for our bills when we got our food. when paying, asked to speak to a manager the server says theres no one we can talk to because everyone is in the back. speechless.More
Looking Forward to Fish , as this place had fish in its name , service was ok , drinks were tasteless , watered down , & my meal & my wifes were awful, very greasy, just the worst ive ever had , but i still...left a good tip , not the waitress fault , Do not go thereMore
Waited 40 mins to sit and after that it took more than an hour to get appetizer.. Service was terrible and everything was overpriced not worth..wasted time and money..don't waste ur time ..
The food in general was very good, friendly staff but you can tell their missing a few staffs because service was very long. The appetizers, scallop in bacon was way over price for only 3 of them for $19.00 and they were overcook. But if...you want good fish, i still recommend this placeMore
What an amazing experience! Thank you so much Adam and Lisa for making our family dinner such memorable; more so as we were celebrating our son's birthday. The welcome, the greeting, the food, the presentation, the staff....absolutely everything was top notch. The food was so...delicious that we can actually travel 2.5hrs just to experience it again. Adam kept the kids involved; had such a pleasant atmosphere, such soothing ambience and he kept holding conversations with kids to make them feel valued. I will definitely recommend this place to everyone from every aspect. Thank you for such an amazing service.More
Located in beautiful Collingwood! Chose this restaurant on a whim. Outdoor patio location was a bit noisy but the music helped! Cold beer, hot food, good service! I would come here again!
First day of vacation, a hot Friday night in June, stopped at the Fish Bar for a quick bite. I ordered Haddock and chips with a cold Stella. Everything was awesome, couldn’t finish all the fresh cut fries. My wife ordered the mussels in white...wine sauce, again good flavour. Serving staff were exceptional. Exceeded my expectations.More
Although the patio is in the parking lot on the street it has a nice ambience with the umbrellas and flower boxes. Nice selection of beer, the waitir gives you the choices. We enjoyed our meals, seafood chowder was more a fish chowder but tasty....Halibut was delicious, light crisp batter. Excellent service, we will return.More
Went in 2 days before the lockout to try and spend some $$ locally. Had 2 new waiters that were on their first day. They were great and very attentive. We had a couple of beers and the fish tacos. Wow they were great !!...Everything was excellent. We upgraded to salad and they told us the cost. Once the salad came there was not enough dressing so I asked for more. The bill added .50 . Why do they do this on a $100. Bill??? Great dinner but I don't expect little charges.More
