Brisket is fantastic! The ribs were excellent and the chicken OK. The Bourbon bacon ice cream was worth trying too. The menu is gluten-free except for 5 items and the deep-fryer is not shared with gluten items. The restaurant is *much* better than it looks...from the street. My only complaint is that tea comes from a Keurig, which our server did warn us about. They have GF beer which would have been a better choice!More
Second time ordering from here, enjoyed the brisket sandwich, sweet potato fries not bad. Had the brisket main this time, came with Mac and cheese was unbearable. Just stick to the sandwich.
We really enjoyed this restaurant pre-pandemic. They use to have several sauces on the tables to try with your meal and it really enhanced the dining experience. We have been twice since they have returned to in-restaurant dining. Both times we were disappointed. We had...a couple platters and this was our experience: Wings - very good Ribs - very good (but little meat on the bones) Beef brisket - rubbery and fat Pulled pork - dry Burger - terrible Beans - no flavour Fries - good. The meals have become very expensive for what you get. For example, a beef brisket platter is now $26. What was really odd was we were a group of eight people. Some of us arrived early to get a table, but the manager would not let us sit at the table until our entire party arrived? Had we been allowed to sit, we would have had drinks while waiting.More
Always enjoyed this restaurant. The food was excellent and they served healthy portions but my recent visit was extremely disappointing. The chicken wings were ok, a bit on the dry side, and the 1/3 hamburger for 16.99 was truly one of the worst hamburgers I...have ever eaten. “Where’s the beef”was all I could think about. I really like the food here. We usually order the Sampler which gives you a variety of smoked meats to choose from. The sides are also very well prepared and tasteful. My only complaint is the restaurant actually sets the credit card machine for a...20% tip. They do tell you this. I feel this is overly aggressive especially since we were doing take out. When are restaurateurs going to realize they are out of touch with reality. Please wake up folks!More
A group of around 10 of us visited TheSmoke recently. They accommodated our group and I think they even stayed open a little late for us (we didn’t realize what time the restaurant closed). We were very pleased with the service (thanks, Cam and staff!)...and the food was amazing. Definitely get the brisket! Amazing food!More

Celiac's dream! Everything on the menu is homemade from scratch. The chef knows every ingredient and can assure that no gluten enters into your meal. There are only 5 things on the menu that contain gluten, so the variety is amazing...even the fryer is gluten...free! What a treat to be able to eat here, it almost didn't even feel as though I was any different than my friends with my dietary restrictions. I thank the owner for being an upstanding and thoughtful individual who just wants everyone to enjoy his delicious food!More
Amazing. The food is incredible and the staff was warm and friendly. The owner is a really nice down to earth guy. Love this place and wish there was one in my city!! Highly recommend!! He caters specifically to people who have Celiac as well....Can’t say enough good.More
Our family returned to The Smoke in Collingwood last night for dinner. My daughter has recently been diagnosed with Celiac disease and this testaurant had so many gluten free options for her including french fries and deserts! The rest of the family thoroughly enjoyed our...meals. Great BBQ!!More

The SMOKE is one of the BBQ restaurants I am dreaming about. I have enjoyed many BBQ meals during my many trips to Midwest US and I thought that Southern Ontario will not match the taste I am so used with. I was WRONG! "The...SMOKE" is not only equal but in some areas better than the meals I had. Their pulled pork sandwich and the club sandwich made me love this place and place them equal with any BBQ place I have visited in US. When you visit, ask them what would they recommend. And with their entire offer made in-house, I will certainly go back and try everything from their menu: including their smoked fish ..... hm, intriguing.More
