I truly do like the food at Beaver and Bulldog, especially the hamburger topped by a lightly fried egg. The wings are wonderful, especially when they are 1/2 priced. But the tables are shoved so close together that my husband and I cannot talk about anything. The last time we were there, the couple beside us was so loud that they drown us out. The atmosphere turned an otherwise great experience into one we endured. I know the crowding of tables reflects how popular they are, but this is not the first time we've decided to avoid a restaurant because we were sitting almost in the laps of strangers. The service is mixed but that's probably because it gets so crowded. If we went on anything 1/2 priced wing day, perhaps the service would be better. All in all, it is not a place we can relax.

Nothing special at this restaurant. Hamburger was ok, but nothing to write home about. The patio is large and the place was busy (30 minute wait for a table). However the service was a little slow and the appetizer came out at the same time as the entrees...I will say that the entree (stuffed onion rings) was good and different but I cannot say that any aspect of the experience compels me to return.

We were recommended this restaurant and their wings by our bed and breakfast owners in Collingwood. So, of course we both ordered wings. They allowed me to select two different flavours for the 1lb ordered, which was wonderful. And I don't think I could choose a favourite still, they were both so wonderful. Husband ordered the exorcist wings and though he says they could have been even hotter (spice wise) they tasted fantastic, which he finds is rare when having hot wings. We'll definitely be back.

Food is horrible. I ordered the charcuterie board which came with processed meat and cheese, not worth it. I then decided to order the chicken tacos. They enter chicken strips in a taco shell with romaine lettuce and ranch dressing, basically chicken fingers with ranch dressing. Drinks and staff were excellent. Patio faces a parking lot and strip mall. My husband had the wings and ribs and ribs and they were ok. If you decide to check it out order the drinks and mixed veggie fries.

Came up to Collingwood for a short visit with the family for two nights. Decided to eat here because it seemed casual and a local restaurant and not a chain. We definitely we able to relax, laugh and smile while we enjoyed our meal without feeling like we were bothering anyone. A number of TVs to enjoy sports and good food. 3 of 4 of us ordered the wings. They were large and well cooked with many different sauces to choose from. We delivered hot and ready to eat. I ordered the B&B 2 hander buffalo-style chicken breast sandwich which was pretty good. Fries were good and not frozen and we had the onion ring appetizer which we enjoyed and were amazed we had not thought of doing the same thing at home. Thanks for the idea and starting our trip off well with a good meal and a place to have a good family meal and conversation. If you are looking to feel some of the Collingwood atmosphere, go to a place where locals would eat, have some decent food, good service and not a chain, this restaurant is a good place to start. If you are looking for your server to ask if you want regular water or sparkling and want a pianist in the back corner of the restaurant, you may want to continue your search.

My wife and I visited this restaurant while on vacation. I had the carbonara which was very good while my wife had the curried chicken. She found it a bit spicier than the "medium" spicy the server described it as so we did what all good couples do ..... We switched meals halfway through. I found it spicy but doable. I would go back here again as I found the service, price and atmosphere very good. Try it sometime. They have a lot of good selection on the menu.

Love the wings, but opted for the Roast Beef Dip yesterday with fries and caesar salad. On the reco of the bartender, we added Swiss. Fresh ciabatta bun, lean roast beef and smokin hot horseradish made this the perfect sandwich. Yummy fries and caesar topped off dinner.

We met with an old friend and sat outside which was perfect. Delicious food, the waiter assisted in suggestions for drinks and food, not to get the big salad of you'll be taking it home for eg. No hurry.

Beaver and Bulldog still is an iconic establishment! Ownership and staff show and demonstrate what service and quality really is!
Wings are fantastic but don’t be shy to try all the great meals they serve. I live in North Carolina but look forward coming back to Collingwood hitting this favorite of mine!
Still see many great faces repeat customers and new. During covid I still get my fill of their great take out of a variety of menu items.
Super Bowl was a blast, prizes for every take out! Mayhem! but they are used to a packed house and keeping every customer happy whether dine in when it’s back or great takeout!
Be sure to say hi to the owners Brandon and Amanda who give it their all, making and keeping Beaver and Bulldog Collingwood’s best Wingery/pub/restaurant!
Thanks All!

We ate a late dinner on the patio. They took our names and contact number for contact tracing. Our server was Chantal and she was fantastic. Unfortunately they ran out of meatloaf then burgers (crazy but true) and Chantal was very apologetic when she had to tell us and ask my husband to make a new choice for dinner, twice. I ordered the B&B bruschetta which was an appetizer but plenty for a meal. Chantal recommended the fish and chips for my husband which was delicious. My husband’s beer was complementary on the bill. Definitely recommend.

Stopped in after golf with 2 buddies. Awesome ambiance, wait staff were incredible, service was prompt and food was exceptional. One buddy was in the mood for Liver & Onions with mashed potato, he was very happy with the meal. Other buddy went with a burger special of the day with fried egg, avocado and all the regular toppings and fries, he was a very happy golfer grinning from ear to ear. I went for the Exorcist wings (ghost pepper puree) & onion rings, very good but next time I'll get them to kick up the heat a notch. Excellent selection of beers on tap. Over all an fantastic meal with friends. I will be back.

Stopped for lunch on a busy Sunday. The patio was quite busy (obviously with COVID-19) but we were quickly seated.
We weren't too hungry so we shared the crispy chicken tacos which were really good and almost enough for two light eaters. Service was excellent and the patio really nice with flowers, umbrellas, etc.
Many cheers .................

The first restaurant that my friend and I we're able to eat inside after covid-19 finally allowed restaurants to reopen was beaver and bulldog. Once before I have had their wings and so I ordered them again. I like honey garlic chicken wings but this restaurant has a vast array of other kinds of wings. They were absolutely delicious and I can't wait to try them again. It was so nice to be able to go into a restaurant to eat again. As far as we could see, all the proper guide lines were being implemented.

We looked for a nearby place to eat and were pleasantly surprised. We enjoyed the patio and the service from Colin. A bottle of nicely chilled Fox Brook chardonnay, root fries as appetizer, steak & feta and a veggie burger. All very tasty . This restaurant follows the COVID rules very diligently

Who picked the play station? I'm guessing the kitchen staff. It was awful grunge, heavy metal, mixed with tragically hip and awfully depressing music. No one needs that right now. Food was great, service was great - but the speaker directly above us was blaring terrible music not suited for a local pub/eatery.
