Tried this place in my second night in cochrane and the burger here was excellent. I believe it was called the Texas bbq burger and it was messy but great.

Food was delicious, served hot. The best liver/fried onions & that gravy, Steak was right on, med/rare, pink in the middle. Travels took us all over Eastern Ontario, most places had warmed up/microwaved premade frozen dishes and ‘Terry’s Steakhouse’ was a welcome change with their...home style meals.More

Fantastic food, not an ounce of grease on anything deep fried, fast welcoming service. Drinks were good.

I love the new owners and havent even met them but they brought East Indian Food to Cochrane and it is DELICIOUS! I dream of the Paneer Tikki Masala. I would eat this dish 7 days a week. CONGRATS ON TRYING SOMETHING DIFFERENT IN THIS...BURGER AND FRIES TOWN! Also waitress was the best I have ever had anywhere. She was sweet and attentive and on the ball with everything. I’ve been here many times and have never been disappointed with the food or the service. I recommend the veggie burger, the butter chicken and the garlic naan! They are wheelchair accessible but the wheelchair entrance only opens from the inside and isn’t near the...accessible parking, so you either need accompaniment or a cellphone as there is no doorbell. The parking nearest the accessible entrance is one a slight hill so be careful your chair doesn’t leave without you. I haven’t used the washroom here since landing in the chair and don’t remember it well enough to comment.More

16 of us had dinner here when we returned from our Moosonee trip, it was a Sunday night and near closing but they still accommodated us with great food, great drinks and amazing service! A must stop on your sled trips or anytime going through!

We were in town for the Polar Bear Cup and Terry’s was recommended. Not disappointed at all. Everything was delicious awesome poutine and the chicken wings were to die for. Actually the best we have ever had. Absolutely will return again. Perfect restaurant excellent food...and prompt friendly service.More

A group of friends and myself went to Terry’s Steakhouse for a quick bite to eat. This was our second time here and let me tell you it was just as good if not even better than I remembered. Our service was the best service...I have ever received! We had Theo (I think that’s her name) and she was just a delight to have as a waitress. She was full of personality and was always smiling. The food was amazing and the portions are great for the price. I had a burger and it was so juicy and you can tell the meat is fresh and I was told that the burgers are made in house! You can tell though the food that the chef puts his or hers all into what they’re making. The others had steak, chicken parm and a poutine plus apps. We will definitely be making a trip back! - A very happy customer! :)More

Friendly staff. Restaurant decor super dated and not that clean. Had the special. Was a piece of white Wonder Bread with a frozen hamburger patty on top with some packaged salty gravy and a sad salad. Have had some great eats in Cochrane but this...was not one of those times.More

Snowmobiling in Cochrane and had dinner, great service and laughs with Ashley and Amanda serving us, will certainly come back as food was good as well.

All I can say is that we went to go for breakfast at 9am Saturday..no sleds on parking lot???. Eight of us walked in,said hi to the guy behind the counter and said" we all drink coffee". He laughed....10 minutes later (910am) we still had...no coffee so we asked the guy for coffee. He advised that they open at 930 for people staying at the hotel and 11 for everyone else. At this point our table of eight and another table of four walked out. We snowmobiles there from trail, not staying there. Not sure if language barrier was present, but they sure didn't seem snowmobile friendly in this case. We followed the signs on the trail that said" open for breakfast"...11am on a Saturday in opinion is not " open for breakfast"..I guess business is so good they can afford to offer crappy hours. Not much to choose from in Cochrane...but at least the majority of places we went too were "snowmobile friendly" The empty parking lot should have been our first clue..More

We had dinner here and the food was excellent. Generous portions and affordably prices. they have nightly specials or you can select from the menu. Staff was friendly. Service was good.
