Server was very friendly and attentive. We shared their onion rings which were ok and very hot! My hubby had their half rack of ribs and fries. There aren't a lot of dining options in Cochrane, and this one was recommended to us. It was good. The food was not exactly gourmet, but we weren't looking for that. The service was pleasant and friendly and the experience was fine.
Had the ribs here again. Went there last summer. We had a small problem with our order and they were fast at resolving it. Ribs were truly fall off the bone. You gotta here here.
Hoping to dine in but not allowed due to covid. So ordered, payed got delivered to motel. Seemed to take longer than the 45 mins we were told. When we got it it was ice cold, missing the gravey ... Which they did send over...also was cold and we were pretty much finished eating when it got here. Realized we were also supposed to get coleslaw with our meal and didn't get it either. I'm sure if we were allowed to dine in it would have been better. But I could have got hot burgers for alot less money at A&WMore
Stopped here for dinner while visiting cochrane for a burger and a beer. While the burger may not have been world changing, it certainly hit the spot. Tried a local beer there and it was good too.

My bf and I went on a snowmobile trip in Cochrane, and stayed close by this place. It was nice to be able to actually dine in the restaurant. He had the ribs and said they were amazing, I had the chicken fingers and was...very pleased as well. The staff was great. Overall good experience would go back :)More

JR's is always a must stop when we snowmobile in the Cochrane area. The staff is amazing and the Ribs are the best! I highly recommend this place to everyone in town!
Ordered the full Rack of Ribs with a caesar salad and both were excellent! The ribs were very tender and very tasty. Service was also Great!

Hubby order 1/2 chicken dinner and I had the rack of ribs. Both portions a good size but average in taste. The honey garlic sauce on the ribs was ok and it seemed that they just dipped or poured it on the ribs. There was...no caramelization of the sauce to the ribs or stickiness that makes you want to lick your fingers. But whoever made our Caesars did an excellent job...very tasty. If we did not have to drive we would had more.More
Four of us had dinner at the J R Bar-B-Q Ranch. Nobody was happy with the food. The food was nothing special but quite over priced. The server was attentive and friendly.
Great food & service. We often go to JR's and always enjoy our meal & the friendly service. Highly recommend this restaurant.
Loved the chicken wings, and the service. Definitely one of the best restaurants in the area. Highly recommended!
