The food is standard diner fare but it is done extremely well! For example, the carrots that came with my hot hamburger were maple glazed with lots of butter. My wife had the perogies and they were superb. The simple tomato tortellini soup was excellent!...Dave and DianneMore

Good place to have breakfast. Very clean and the food is good. Good location and staff is very friendly.

When we went in we were the only people and we thought - on no. But the guy serving us was VERY nice and the food was really good. Prices... a little higher (not much) but very impressed with the meal.

Thoroughly enjoyed the meal. Pleased that the restaurant offers vegan options. Service was excellent!

We stopped for breakfast on our way through town, hadn’t had a bad meal there before but not in Cochrane often. The meal came in just a few minutes which was a surprise. The eggs were good, bacon. Everything except the pancakes. Don’t know when...those were made but they were not fresh. We let the server know and was quick to offer replacement-but we expected the same and declined. We requested they be removed from the bill and to our surprise the server stated that “you ordered it”. (She was a young server.) This statement did not sit well with us. No, we did not order hard pancakes. She finally adjusted the bill for us. More than the hard pancakes it was the attitude of our server. Won’t be back anytime soon.More

We had breakfast here and the food was hot and excellent. Friendly service. Lots of choices on the menu. Right at the train station so convenient if you are taking the trail to Moosenee. We will go back.

I've stopped at this establishment twice for breakfast and both times it was excellent. Slightly more pricey than elsewhere, but the restaurant appeared very clean, and the coffee and service was good.

Theresa was our server both times we ate at this restaurant!! She was fun and friendly and the food was good!! Would go back, for the food but mainly for the great service 😁

Stopped in on a Sunday evening for dinner. Most tables were full, initially sat in the bar area until a table opened up in the restaurant. Small place with seating for 30 or so. Meals came quite quickly, but we were in after the dinner...rush. For quantity (especially kids meals), food was reasonably priced. I expected more atmosphere for the historical place we were in. No music, loud sports on TV. Not the greatest service by the waitress: had to go up a couple of times for condiments and refills. When back in Cochrane, I'll try other places as well before going back.More

We had dinner there with my Husband. For starter We had mozzarella stick, He ordered the pickerel dinner, I had steak salad with avocado. For dessert We had coconut cream pie and lemon cake. Everything was delicious and the service was wonderful. The prices are...very affordable for high quality food and service. Highly recommend this restaurant.More

Visited Cochrane during the Canada long weekend and 6 of us decided on the Station Inn. 1) Our meals were delivered independently of one another. It was a good 10-15 minutes between the first meal arrived to the last. 2) Our daughter ordered Pogo and...fries. We had to return the 2 Pogos as they were still frozen inside. They took away her plate and returned it with the fries which were saturated in oil. Our thi Kong was that the oil was not hot enough and the reason why the pogos weren't thoroughly defrosted. Anyway, fries were finished and other meals were mostly done before she got her pogos. 3) Poor Food Quality - it's 100% blah. 2 of us had the Chipotle burger.... no flavour. 4) Poutine was cold... again likely due to the oil 5) Server never came back to check on on us or to offer coffe or dessert. 6) When I was in line to pay, staff were chatting amongst themselves that they couldn't wait to go home. Do not waste your time or money here!More
