This modest restaurant is - despite 2 x 2 top tables - really just for take out. But what great take out! $5.50 bought me a cod "snack" which was an ample dinner for one. The battered cod was excellent, but the deep golden brown chips were *heavenly*. I'll be back!

Cash only! Short wait for soggy chips and decent but over breaded fish. Not setup to eat in, take home and eat cold. Plus $36 for 2 pieces of Halibut and chips - you do the rest.

First, let me explain, I'm in a wheelchair. Some people treat me like I have a disease. Some, like I'm feeble or less than human. It keeps me in almost as much as the weather! One day, I couldn't pass up the craving. I thought it was going to be an awful time. Imagine my surprise when a couple of... More

This is one of Chatham's best kept little secrets. Tucked away in a small walk-in building at the corner at Queen/Park AveW, Tuesday specials for $3, daily $7 special (3 pc fish dinner). Small but good fish menu. There's always a smile and fast, friendly service waiting when you walk in the door. There are two small tables (for 2)... More

I've had most items on the menu here and the Boston Bluefish and chips are still my favourite. The regular price of a three piece, coleslaw and home made fries is $8.50 taxes in, and worth every penny for the quality and value of the serving. They still have their Tuesday and lunchtime specials too. The fish batter is just... More

My Wife & I try to get the fish & chips from Fricks at least every other week. The staff are friendly, the food is great and the prices are extremely reasonable. They just have a couple of booths for eat in & most of the customers are takeout. I have yet to go to pick up fish when there... More

Out of the 2 fish and chip places in Chatham, Fricks' and Lil Julies, Fricks' is by far the best. The have hand cut fries and their prices are excellent. This is not a sit-in restaurant. This is a hidden greasy spoon behind a gas station with a couple of seats available to wait while your food is cooked (unless... More

The special for lunch was a bargain at $6.00 it was 2 pieces of Boston Blue and lovely homemade fries. Friendly service and As a previous mention time to switch back to paper or cardboard and away from plastic and styrofoam. Makes the fish and chips sweaty. But we rushed over to a local park and savored the fish with... More

It's just that - Fish and chips. Nothing fancy, but filling. Take out only. Try their Tuesday special - the price is right!
