A few weeks ago , Anna added a daily soup to the menu. A different one each day..and all homemade.."from scratch." I thought the potatoe soup was the best so far...but Friday's Chicken with Rice just became my favourite. Tasty and the consistency of the rice , was perfect. All that was left was an empty bowl !

Wow! What a special treat! Had the seafood special which included shrimp, scallops, fish and fries! Absolutely HUGE portions! and sooo fresh and delicious! Was so much fun to pick up our food, wrapped in newspaper, and walk to the waterfront to eat it picnic style on the grass! Will definitely be back for more! Highly recommend!!!

We stopped here to grab lunch and Anna greated us with a big smile as soon as we came in. We ordered the special (fish, scallops, shrimps and fries). The portions were generous and everything was delicious, particuarly the fish. Thanks Anna and wishing you the best of fun in your future travels.

Not what we had expected based on reviews
We were somewhat disappointed in our fish and chips. The fish looked great, but the batter was greasy, and the fries were greasy and limp. The fish itself was good, flaky and with great flavor, but the grease was overwhelming. I hate leaving a mediocre review, but these reviews should be truthful, to give folks a heads up.

Coming from the UK we are well placed to know about the quality of fish and chip restaurants and this place was right up there. The staff were really friendly and helpful and the food was amazing. The home made tartare sauce was really fresh and they even had a gluten free option which tasted like real batter. If you are in the area you should give them a try.

We were wandering around down on the waterfront today and struck up a conversation with a local. He told us about Manoll’s Fish and. Chips so we decided to give it a try. Wow! We were not disappointed. The food was fresh, hot, tasty. And the service was excellent, too. We will definitely make the drive from Ottawa again for another feed of fish and chips.

Best fish and chips in Brockville now that they have changed hands. Huge piece of fish with really crunchy batter. Fries are good but the fish is the star of the show. Unique tartar sauce with capers if you like that. Best fish in town though.

I got their seafood combo, with an extra fish on Ash Wednesday and it was delicious! It fed both my husband and I. Love their homemade seafood and tarter sauces! As a hometown Brockville girl, I can honestly say Manoll’s is the best fish & chip shop in town!

This is hands down the best fish and chips in Brockville and beyond. It is take out only which is the way I always remember ordering f & c, even as a kid. That being said, to go a step further, the staff was so outgoing and friendly that we will definitely be back every time we come to Brockville. I give them a 6 out of 5 on this review.

We have only had take out from here once before and it was not the best.
However the food from here last night was very good. The portions were
very generous and the fish fresh and the batter excellent. The fries were good but
could have been crispier but not a deal breaker. Much better then the place we
normally order from. A very good meal!!!

Amazing fish and chips. Gluten free batter was wonderful!! What an unexpected surprise! You won't be disappointed! We even went back to try the Deep fried pickles & they were awesome. Highly recommend if you are in Brockville!!

Super service and great food! Very friendly and helpful, too. Take out service, short walk down to the park by the waterfront. Both 5 year olds (chicken fingers and chips) gave them two thumbs up. All 4 adults (fish and chips) were very happy with our lunch choices, too!

So glad we ate here before leaving town. There's a reason they've been in business for almost 100 years! Absolutely delicious and super friendly service. Go here and nowhere else for authentic fresh fish and chips!

Some of my best lunch memories of the late 70's early 80's were here with my parents. First place I ever had a Dr. Pepper, I'm planning to drive here from Barrie with my wife for our anniversary to relieve a great memory. Excited to visit!!
