The gastropub is located up a small lane way at the top so it can be missed. It is situated in an older building with lots of character and our waiter was very funny, talkative and provided great service. My wife had the lentil burger,...in house creation and the waiter actually gave my wife the recipe of his creation! I had the seafood chowder, full of lots of great things. I would say a stew instead o a chowder though but no matter what I called it it was delicious!! A red beer from Port Perry topped it off.More

Good service a bit pricey. I bit hard to find location but right in the city. Quiet covered terrace to eat on the back - rain or shine.

Cutest little pub just of the main road in Bracebridge. The truffle fries were superb. Great spot for grabbing a pint if you’re in town.

We are on their extended makeshift patio even though they had a limited menu, the food and drinks were fantastic and the service was friendly. Great live music made it a perfect summer evening stop.

The Grif use to be the coolest place in Bracebridge ...small but mighty the food use to be amazing ...very different...they use to always have healthy yummy specials....But Now it’s just another quaint bar with bar food...yuk.....nothing different! Boring... Beer is beer that gets tired...too. The Food is the key to bring people back... Get back to the beginning....people get tired of bar food....Get your groove back owners! 🤦‍♀️😎😴😴😴More

We were exploring the downtown area of Bracebridge looking for a unique spot for lunch, when we came across this spot at the end of a laneway. There were plenty of options to accomodate a gluten free diet, and as well, gf beer and cider...options were available. Coffee was piping hot, plentiful and made in a french press so was delicious! The Korean BBQ Burger and the Special Burger of the day were very tasty, messy and enjoyed thoroughly with some of the best fries we have had for a while. Entertainment started at about 3pm, and the place quickly filled up with locals. The atmosphere was fun and not too loud despite the small space. Even though there was only one server looking after the whole place he was very efficient, friendly and attentive. We would definitely recommend and return to this place.More

My husband and i have been several times to the Griffon...never again. We were the only 2 people ordering food. The menu changed and the choices were poor, especially if you don't eat pork. We settled on a bison burger and fried chicken on a...bun. The bison burger was ok...however our food order was wrong. I had to wait while i watched my husband eat. My chicken came with a side of gritty (sand) and drenched salad. Awful. The fried chicken was no better than McDonald's. We would have had a better meal at Harveys. With very few customers...how could the food be so bad ...but it was not right that we came together to enjoy a meal and felt soooo disappointedMore

We ate at the pub with friends by chance and it turned out to be a really fun evening. It was trivia night and we really had fun participating in the event. The pub food was quite good and the service was good as well....Very casual atmosphere.More

In the Muskoka area and decided to visit the Griffin. Great decision. An array of local craft beers on tap, but the real star is the food. The Griffin Gangster Balls and the Nachos are a must. A great Gastro Pub experience. Live music most...nights to boot. Small place though so may need to arrive early to get a seat.More

I should have looked better. No cheese on the nachos, a cheese like 7/11 convenience store suse not cheese. Pretty gross. FYI. I let them know my mistake and they recooked real cheese on the order. Very accommodating.
