Great food, great service & music too. First, we ate outside on this pleasant summer day. We were served by Sally, a spunky hard-working waitress and she was attentive, jovial and accommodating. I asked her if the cooks could split a meal to make it a half portion and they accommodated me. The salmon jambalaya was fantastic. Best meal on this trip. The music was just loud enough to hear it but not too loud to drown out your conversation. Simon, the manager was pleasant and friendly as well. All and all, a delicious place to eat dinner.

I had the most delicious lobster roll at this new restaurant on their opening day. Beautiful presentation, perfect taste and portion size. I was seated facing the lovely outdoor view which whetted my appetite for seeing more of the stunning natural beauty of the area surrounding Squamish, so I will certainly return soon. There are lots of other tempting items on their menu, but I suspect I will order the lobster roll again at my next visit, because - why tamper with delicious!

We decided to spend our Valentine’s dinner here and the service was absolutely amazing. Although there was some issue with getting the right order, they were very accommodating by giving us a full platter for free to compensate us for the mistake. Highly recommended for the great service and the amazing food. Will definitely go back.

Had a great meal and evening at freebird with a group of friends. We started with oysters which were amazing and Simon the manager took the time to explain each different type of oyster we would be getting which made for a great experience. They also had a great selection of craft beers on tap. The vibe was great and we will definitely be back.

We came for our anniversary, our server Sammi gave us complimentary bubbles to help us celebrate. I’m celiac and can always count on this restaurant taking care of my dietary needs, I ordered the gluten free fish and chips and even my husband is amazed at how great it tastes! We made happy hour, and enjoyed some oysters.

If you’re gluten-free and craving fish and chips, this place is an absolute must-visit! After 26 years as a celiac, I’ve never had portions this big—massive pieces of fish with the best-tasting crust that stayed perfectly crisp and intact. The staff were incredibly knowledgeable and attentive, making the experience even better. Can’t recommend this gem enough!

My adult children and I gathered to celebrate a birthday over lunch. Though the same space was being used to serve lunch to a conference, the slow pace of services and noise level was tolerable.
After the delegates, left, all manner of _ell broke loose with noise from metal dragging on concrete, items dropped, and table being dismantled quickly hastened our exit. We confirmed that the restaurant was still open but wow. Calling it a _ _ _ _show would be polite.

Matt (I think that was his name?) was our server/bartender tonight. He was very accommodating and enlightened us on all the amazing activities to do here in Squamish with great stories to go with.
His appy/dinner recommendations were delicious and his quality of service was top notch.
We have a cabin in whistler and usually stop for a meal while passing through Squamish. This was our first time at the new Freebird and it was amazing! Thanks!!

Ten out of ten across the board. Not only was the service fantastic, the food was amazing too. We had oysters and chicken sliders on a beautiful Saturday afternoon and it truly completed our already lovely morning. Can’t wait to go back!

The setting was nice on the patio. Parking is good. Fish and chips was a bit average with lots of batter on the fish.
Our group was only 3 but our bill had an automatic tip added which we didnt like and made us feel like its not a tip, but an automatic price increase.

After a very long day of driving to get to Squamish, I was so happy I had thought to make reservations for our anniversary dinner at Freebird. We were staying at the hotel where the restaurant is located. My husband and I could not believe how welcoming and kind everyone was——and everyone wished us a happy anniversary. Dog friendly on the outdoor deck which has beautiful views! (We needed dog friendly since we are traveling with our dog.) Food was great, service was exceptional! Thanks to everyone who made our anniversary dinner so special!

We stayed at the resort where Freebird is now the main restaurant. We had breakfast there twice of which was amazing. Definitely did not taste like hotel food and the staff was so friendly. We only had breakfast here. One morning was a more relaxed morning where we got to sit outside and enjoy the larger breakfast and relax. The second was before we headed out on an adventure and we grabbed the yogurt and croissants. Both were well prepared and tasted great. If you are looking for a great place to eat I highly suggest and if you are staying at the hotel I definitely suggest for breakfast before heading out for the day.

Had a great happy hour at Freebird on Friday night. Our server Sammi was so helpful and accommodating to my gluten allergy. Loved that the patio is dog friendly! We will be back next time we’re in town!

I come over for a holiday from Western Australia every year for 3months and have been going to Free Bird for the last 3 years (Norman Rudy's before). The staff there are absolutely Amazing and so friendly, makes us feel like family. The drinks and food are always delicious and the service is great. Recommended to everyone. Chris and Ian

My out-of-town friends from Korea and I enjoyed our time at the restaurant. The food, service, and atmosphere were top notch. Our server, Sammi, was warm and attentive. She made an effort to speak with my friends (it was their first visit to Squamish) and made them feel welcome. A big thanks to Sammi. This establishment is a great addition to our town!
