Not a great place if you are not friends or regulars of the establishment.

I’m sure it’s great place for the regulars but they apparently do not want anymore. Dirty chopsticks, dirty floor around my table (dried noodles and lemongrass) and we got completely ignored by our server but the regular beside us got three drinks by the time...she realized that she forgot my side order of bean sprouts ( they cost extra). I definitely felt like I did not belong there. Server seemed great with regulars and those at reserved tables. Broth was good…not the best but good. Starting tip option was 10%More

Mediocre

Food is good But the service is unsatisfactory Took about 30 mins to take our order And when we first walked in we asked if we could sit at a table and the server said they didn’t want us to sit there because we would...be taking up space. Fresh food

Fresh food, friendly staff and great atmosphere! This was our first visit! The food was so fresh and tasty! We grew up in Vancouver with many Pho options, and we felt this Pho rivalled any Pho we have eaten in the city! It was a...great place to take our family!More

Fresh and Good Service

We were walking downtown trying to find a place to eat when we came across Hanoi36. We were greeted as soon as we entered, we were able to pick a table. Madison was very attentive, brought menus did our drink order then our food order....We had the beef bun it was very fresh, several vegetables and 3 different fresh herbs we had which was so nice to make it taste even fresher. We were very impressed because Vietnamese is one of our favourite foods, I would recommend this restaurant. We don't live in Salmon Arm but would make the drive to come here again.More

birthday dinner

6 of us for a birthday dinner....all ages and there was something for everyone!! My 84yr old mom had never had Vietnamese food before and was very pleased Meals were delicious as always! Good food, no Covid vaccine checks

We went based on reviews and were sad to see liquor sales were suspended and no Covid checks. Everyone was seated at tables without masks but you ordered food at the counter and they said public health considered this cafeteria service so they did not...have to check vaccine passports. They served every table when food was ready and removed dishes, If you are pro-vaccine this may not be the place for you and if your anti-vax then maybe this is the place for you. Food was good, we had noodles, sizzling orders and it was hot and tasty. My first experience with Thai food so I have nothing to compare it to but it was very tasty and I enjoyed the food.More

what a special evening

We had a celebration with 19 friends. Consulted with the owner ahead of time and had a set menu. We arrived at 6.00 and left at 9.00, 3 hours of delicious eating the seven dishes that were served. All the dishes were full of flavour...and the staff was friendly and happy to look after all our small requests.More

A little slow but good!

It took a while to get the waitress to take our order but she might have been new and overwhelmed. Once we ordered, food probably arrived after 5 min. It tasted good and fresh! We were not disappointed.

Fresh & delicious authentic cuisine!

Excellent experience! Our waiter Aiden was exceptional! What a rarity to find such a courteous and friendly young man like this. The food was generous, fresh and delicious with amazing flavours and lovely presentation. I enjoyed the feature noodle dish with barbecue pork. All made...with local produce… a plus! Clean and welcoming ambiance. We will be back!More

Amazing flavour.

The food was very fresh, light and well prepared. It was takeout but if the highest quality. This is a go to for my family as we all appreciate well prepared food. When we could go in person the service was good and we enjoyed...the banter.More

Favorite place in town

I have had Pho there several times now and it is by far my favorite. The Chicken Pho is to die for. Highly recommend!

Don't go for Pho

Service was slow and forgetful. The Pho was the worst Pho I have ever had. That is saying a lot because I have eaten Pho all over B.C. The best Pho is at Pho Galaxy in Chilliwack BC. Serious. Their Pho doesn't even compare to...the mediocre Pho we ate last night. There were scant ingredients... Small amount of rare beef, thick noodles, and a few herbs tossed into a salty, broth that had no depth. I'm used to getting a huge steaming bowl accompanied with a plate of bean sprouts and other herbs to add in. This was disappointing and expensive. We like to support local during these trying time but are not interested in mediocre, expensive food. We will NOT be returning to this restaurant as there are many other great places to eat. Save your money and go elsewhere.More
