We went to this restaurant thinking it might be a hidden gem. Unfortunately it wasn't. Ordering is done as you walk in from the posted menu. Options are pretty good and everything seems to be made to order. Service is very slow and there is a cost for refills which seems unusual, however, prices are reasonable.

We phoned in a 10 sandwich order at lunch and it was professionally handled. Food as always was very tasty and generous portions.

If you're looking for a cafe style place with delicious food then the Blue Canoe is the place for you. From my experience the food took along time to get to my table, so have some patience. The girl at the front counter wasn't very friendly. Also inside the cafe it wasn't even busy and there was dirty tables everywhere.... More

We needed a gluten/dairy free meal and this cafe had great choices and tasty soups and salads, nice atmosphere. Convenient place to eat downtown across the street from the visitor's center--lots of tables. We had curried lentil soup, bread, slaw and green salad.

Love the homemade aspect to this cafe. Always busy and has a loyal following. The sandwiches and soups are very good and different as well.

I had the Breakfast sandwich and a coffee, was delicious - fresh bread and ingredients... Lots of muffins, scones, baked goods to choose from. I grabbed a bunch of goodies to go : Caramel brownies are to die for....ooey and gooey...very rich but if you're a chocoholic like me you'll love them! Oatmeal chocolate chip cookie were chewy and delicious.... More

A bakery cafe with super sandwiches and soups. (Yes - the soups are Gluten Free which is a wonderful way for Gluten sensitivity to enjoy this bakery.) My Cuban Pulled Pork Sandwich was delicious and was offered with a wide choice of breads. The setting is spacious with nice artwork making for a relaxing atmosphere. Definitely would stop here again.

The coffee is great and the atmosphere and service are good. I no longer go for the food though. Recently I had a chicken sandwich that was revolting and surprisingly small for the price. The chicken was bland and seemed soaked in water and there was supposed to be chutney, but it seemed more like chicken and thin bread with... More
