This place was the best surprise in Revelstoke! We were super hungry after skiing, so we started with the garden salad and it was very fresh and delicious! Then we had a small order of tandoori chicken and it was great too. Very generous pieces of chicken and the sauce was warm and spicy. I got the green curry with chicken and my husband got the pork rahm with mushroom sauce and spatzle. Unbelievably, both were fantastic! I asked the server how the kitchen could make such great Thai food AND the best German food. She told us the chef and owner was born in India but she eventually grew up in Austria and trained for both types of cooking. I loved my green curry but couldn’t stop taking bites of my husbands food. The sauces were delicious!!! Also, the portions were large and with all we ordered, we had a hard time finishing it all, but we couldn’t waste a bite! Just for reference, I got the same pork dish with spatzle in Lake Louise at the famous Post Hotel. The meat was ok but the spatzle was dry and had no flavor and there was no sauce! Now I know good spatzle! I think we will go back to Paramjit’s Kitchen tonight, because it is the best!

We visited for dinner after a day of skiing. Started the meal with pakoras, fresh made and tasty with an excellent sauce. We shared plates of goat curry and butter chicken and the flavors were wonderful. Servings were large and garlic naan was a perfect accompaniment. Glad to see renovations that make a larger seating area! We definitely recommend this spot!

We were visiting from Vancouver Island for the first weekend in Oct. One of our family has a VERY strict autoimmune dietary challenge. We checked at several restaurants and they could not or would not accommodate. We met the owner at Paramjit's and she was so willing to provide something delicious for this family member. We went there 2 nights. It was delicious and we'll go there again when we're in that neck of the woods! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!

We had Indian food there and the quality and taste was like cheap buffet, however, The girls over there were welcoming. The butter chicken was very heavy with no taste and only few very small pieces of chicken. The lamb korma was not good too. The garlic breads didn’t have the tase of garlic.

Great restaurant, amazing customer service. Staff are very nice and friendly. Food options varied from full indian/ german/ and thai food . We tried them all and loved all our options. The vegetarian options were amazing, the butter chicken was to die for and the naan bread was so tasty with the different options they offered. The mango shake and the rosewater shake was so tasty . The dessert was a special chocolate mousse cake that the owner mastered perfectly. It was so delicious!!!! We had to stop again on our way back from our trip to eat there as it was amazing.

The unique culinary experience was a given: Indian German fusion is not something you encounter everyday. On that front, this place delivered better than could be imagined: butter chicken schnitzel on Spatzle; schnitzel pad Thai, all with a side of sauerkraut. After we ordered, we heard the schnitzel being freshly pounded in the kitchen. It was 9:00pm and locals were streaming in and out—couples, municipal workers in their reflective vests, and groups. Better even than the food was the experience. We were not comfortable with indoor dining yet, there was a small table on the sidewalk on a chilly October evening, and they let four of us sit there. We were served outside with goodwill, fun and acceptance. Not a drinking establishment, when we asked what wine they had, we were told it was in a box…when tried to order the box, we were asked if we really wanted 8L of wine. We laughed, got a glass each and were merry. We then each got another glass. We ordered so much food that the staff brought an extra table outside to the sidewalk. The experience was magical and unlike anything else anywhere. Worth the trip to Revelstoke.

Not initially sold on the Indian/German combo but local recommendations convinced us to give it a go. Friendly staff and efficient service provided some unexpectedly good Indian food. Aloo Gobi Sabzi was excellent and the samosas did not disappoint if a tad lacking in spices. I’m sure the German menu has its takers but can’t see past the well prepared Indian dishes. Good food, well priced and convenient. Give it a go.

Maramjits Kitchen Revelstoke, bc Food quality VARIES CONSIDERABLY, depends on what you order! Some very good, others…. But the worse thing of all is the service. The food came sporadically, half an hour or more between people at the same table! One order was entirely lost. If they cannot feed you in a reasonable length of time, they should turn customers away. It is clearly popular BUT IMHO it needs a serious shakeup! Not recommened.

I had to try the butter chicken schnitzel with spaetzle... Delicious! Who would've thought to combine German food and Indian flavors. This fusion combo is amazing. For those that want "pure" Indian, German or Thai there are those options too. The kids loved the bratwurst and opted for the basmati rice on the side. The potatoes on the side of the sausage is yummy too! Definitely recommend checking this restaurant out because when else are you gonna be able to try traditional family Indian cooking combined with Austrian-trained German cooking? :)

We stopped by on a Monday evening during the offseason. Most of the restaurants in town close on Mondays and Tuesdays after mid-September, we were told. Not this place. It was packed in the good way that shows everyone local is eating there, The owner worked the counter and knew nearly everyone that came in. The German-Indian fusion was unexpected but REALLY good. A great family-run operation.

This restaurant deserves to disqualify as the Indian food restaurant. They are destroying the name of it. Be it Their guey doughy naan, curry or tandoori chicken. Nothing tastes like Indian food. I am pretty sure they might not even have a tandoor. For the high price and the below average taste they could have atleast given good quantity or good service. Oh no they don't bother.

After reading reviews of a great Indian restaurant in this small town I was really excited to give it a try, unfortunately I kind of wished I hadn’t. The food was mediocre at best and the naan tasted nothing like naan, soggy and sweet and doughy. The best part about the meal was samosas. I’m hoping they were just having a bad day, but I wouldn’t go here again. Maybe the German part of the menu is the way to go, but the Indian was very very disappointing.

We’re often dubious about Indian food in small towns but this was great. The dal was delicious, very authentic with tasty pieces of ginger in it. My kids loved the shahi paneer. To me it was average. The nan was decent. Definitely worth a visit!

The food was good, but on the skimpy side. The service was bad including no one to ask how your meal is once you get served, can I get you more to drink or is there anything else you need. Finally someone asked us AFTER we were done eating.

Was very excited to try this place out on our trip to Revelstoke, but it was very disappointing. Nothing special about the curries, greasy and doughy nann bread that tasted like it was pan fried rather than how they are traditional cooked and burnt gulash. Was very surprised this is one of the top reviewed restaurants in Revelstoke. On the positive, the waitress was great and handled everything quite well.
