This ended up being our favorite restaurant by a landslide! The vibe and service was calm but still professional. The wait staff was so intuitive, we never had to ask for anything. Tables are nicely spaced out, so you don't feel like your dining with other groups.
Food was delicious and prices were way more reasonable compared to the other comparative restaurants in town.
HIGHLY recommend this place!

We visit Revelstoke to ski every January and always dine at The Woolsey. Food was even better this year - an extensive menu and excellent service. Amongst our group there were several people with food intolerances/allergies but this restaurant caters well for everyone. Not a cheap restaurant but well worth the cost for for a special dinner out.

Other than the chill cold weather it is a great time to be in Revelstoke with all the snow. It’s great to hear we were able to accommodate the food allergies. The chefs and servers are always trying to go above and beyond. Hope to see you again. Enjoy the great turns in the mountains.

This is an absolute favorite of ours. I think we’ve been three times over the last half dozen years and this time we had a fabulous dinner. The renovations have opened up the restaurant without losing the bistro feel. The scallops were excellent and cooked to mom perfection. The duck and the pork chops were also excellent. The trio tasing desert is the pick and very reasonably priced at $13! A good wine list and sensibly prices. All in all, a top pick if you are in Revelstoke!!

Based on recommendations two years ago we celebrated our anniversary. It was a delightful experience. More eclectic than now, but exceeded our expectations. We once again decided that once more we would celebrate our anniversary there. Because of COVID-19 we asked for an outside table. The staff were just as pleasant, but while offerings were well prepared, far too much use of sauces and smaller portions somehow did not live up to the plate cost. There was no house wine, so it was substituted with a substantial up cost to the same in a different brand, but I guess the biggest concern was the atmosphere change. A group of four young people fresh from a day of climbing it seemed, sat to our rear, removed their accoutrements and shoes and socks, dirty feet, bloody shins, etc totally removed any feeling of being in a quality restaurant. It felt more like a trip to .Mac Donald’s except in Mac Donald’s a staff member would probably ask them to put on their shoes and take their feet off the chairs. I know I sound like a whiner, but had we known that any sense of a quality experience was diminished by an overly casual acceptance of customer expectations in what is a very pricey visit, translates to if you truly want that special experience this is no longer that venue. Sorry.

Took quite a long time to serve our 2 plates. 1 dishe of braised beef and 1 lamb burger.
The carrot cake portion we shared was stale, dry. We should not have continued eating it after the first bite. We advised the server and we were surprised that she didn’t express any real concern about stale dry carrot cake at $10/serving!

We waited over an hour for our food before asking a waiter if he could give us an update. Instead of just checking with the kitchen what was going on, he decided to chastise us that this wasn't a fast food restaurant and that we would just have to wait our turn. The garlic bread (which took only 30 minutes or so to arrive) turned out to be a sad little piece of toasted baguette. The rest of the food was actually good if not spectacular. If the staff can't keep up with the pace or doesn't care about customers, I would suggest that they don't work in the restaurant industry.

We went for dinner. Nice welcoming staff. I wasn’t that hungry, so I got the fig and goat cheese salad and it was great. My husband got the beef shank and it was perfect. They also brought a small basket of bread with olive oil and vinegar on the side. It was slightly crispy and ok, but it would have been better if it had been warm. We got a half liter of the house wine and it was fine. Nice dinner!

Great to here you enjoyed the food and service. Revelstoke has been in a bit of a cold snap lately. Hope you enjoy all the snow on your visit to Revelstoke.

This restaurant was recommended by our Hotel. ( Explorers Society Hotel)
the beef shank and chicken entree were very good.
they accomodated our "keto" diet restrictions ( no starch ) and gave us extra vegetables.
We sat outside and the restaurant is in a lovely inviting building.

We picked this restaurant based on reviews. The building is very interesting, and possibly was a large private home in the past. We were promptly seated on the patio, and our server Andre was very attentive. We both decided to have Caesar salads and the salmon dish. They were all excellent in both presentation and taste. We would highly recommend this restaurant for dinner to anyone wanting a fine dining meal in Revelstoke.

We enjoyed a great meal at the Woolsey Creek Bistro. Starting with cocktails (there's a list of house specialities), we browsed the menu and had a difficult time making up our minds - everything sounded wonderful.
We settled on a brussels sprouts and bacon salad to start, a venison special with venison fillet, parsnip puree, blueberry gastrique and broccolini (my husband declared it was the best venison he'd ever had), jambalaya (the prawns and sausage in the jambalaya were particularly good) and finished with the Baileys and coffee crème brûlée for pudding.
Our waitress was very charming and made excellent recommendations for each course and a terrific wine recommendation (Clos du Soleil 2015 "Celestiale" red blend from Keremeos in the Okanagan Valley).
If you're going to Revelstoke, do try the Woolsey Creek Bistro.

The experience for the large group of eight was a nightmare. We have all been to Woolsey Creek Bistro before but this time the place has lost a lot. The first impression was to be informed we could not open the two bottles of Grand Cru wine we brought along. Though we have been able to open these non BC wines in prior visits this time the manager claimed to be owner informed us no. The wine list is 90% BC and not the good ones. Yes they had Meyer Family but not their Cuvee in other words 7'11 selection. Food is also stuck in the 70's with only a short entree list. The Peiking Duck was not that more Confit, Steak was thin sirloin with cheese on top. One of the guests only ordered soup for the main but the kitchen neglected to keep some for the main. Then bill comes where service for 6+ or more is automatic. Go figure when I asked the waitress if service was included she said no. So I added 18%. The place is just plane poorly managed with a decor from the 70's not a Bistro but an odd collection of bear paintings with food that one could create at home much better.

Very good, stands out from the ski town dull fare, and the attention to detail is excellent. Each of the chef-curated entrees is thoughtfully filled out with sauces, sides, purées that work together oh so well. With much to pick from do not miss chef’s favorite grilled Berkshire pork chop, or the scallops, just too much of a good thing.

The Berkshire Pork is a hidden gem it is often overlooked, but has some great flavours. We take pride in trying to go that extra step. Thank you for taking your time to review.

One of Revelstoke’s best. We dine here very year when we visit Revelstoke to ski. Its ideal for a big group, but also good for couples. The menu and wine list are extensive and the serve was excellent. Our waitress was a New Zealander and she looked after us really well, especially as we had three people with varying dietary requests. The chefs deserve praise. Thank you for a delicious dinner.

Visited with friends and had a great meal at Woolsey. We really enjoyed the beet salad, charcuterie board(large portion) salmon, and pork ribs. Excellent wine selection and friendly staff only negative was service was a little slow but they appeared to be somewhat short staffed.

Lovely interior with some amazing artwork. Very quiet when we were there but it was only 5.30ish. I had the braised beef shank with garlic mash and seasonal vegies and all were very well cooked. There was a generous portion of beef and it really was melt in the mouth. Chose a very rich chocolate mousse for desert so glad not such a big bowl of it! Good value for money in area taking into account the quality of the food.
Would go again if back in Revelstoke.
