Travelled to Wales years ago and fell in love with Welsh cakes which don't exist in Vancouver (except a few inconsistent chances at the farmers' market in Downtown Vancouver during summer). Had lunch at Thomasina's a few years ago on the way back to Vancouver...from Osoyoos. Surprised to see they made Welsh cakes which have become one of my favourite bakeries. This time stayed in Princeton for two nights and went there for lunch. Bought a pack of eight Welsh cakes. When I left Princeton on Sunday morning intending to buy more, disappointed that they aren't open till 10:00. I had a turkey pie for lunch which is very good. Excellent outdoor seating. Steps away from the bridge over the Tulameen River.More

Stopped by for breakfast order a egg bagel sandwich and coffee was given a beeper and told that it would light up when my order was ready. Waited at a table outside for about twenty minutes and saw one of staff come out with a...sandwich in a basket. She stopped at the table next to me and spoke to the two guys and went back in. The guy at the table digs into the bagel and says nice free sandwich. I head in and ask about my order. The guy preparing food says oh that order came up a while ago. I showed him the beeper and he said sometimes those don't work. He spoke to the girl behind the counter and told her she would have to make the bagel again. She said "he should have picked it up" and walked back to the cash register. The guy behind the counter said my coffee was still here and point at it. I picked up the French press of coffee and mentioned it was barely warm and he said that becuase it has been sitting. No offer to make a new one just went back to make other orders.More

Cool place with tasty food. Wasn’t expecting to find this in Princeton. Coffee was bitter but I’m guessing it was a bad day so will happily go back and try again.

En route from Calgary to Vancouver we stopped in Princeton. Grabbed some coffee and some yummy pastries. Very nice place to stop. We ate outside but the inside looks quaint and comfortable. Recommended as a nice break from windy highway driving.

Gave a visit to this bakery/breakfast place while travelling from osoyoos to Vancouver. Reviews were excellent and I was not disappointed. We ordered egger sandwich and chicken panini sandwich. Both were delicious. Mocha coffee was also great. This place gets busy quickly. Would love to...visit again.More

We saw their advertising sheet at the tourist information office and thought we would check it out for future reference. We had already had breakfast but thought this might make a nice stop for future trips. We were there around noon on June 30. It...is a really cute and cozy space with booths set up for dine in and a couple of tables outside. We were browsing and saw that they had ice cream. There was no staff at the ice cream counter but they were at the counter across from the ice cream. The flavours were not marked so we asked and the young girl at the counter she said that they were marked and we could read (like we were illiterate). We insisted that the flavours were not marked and could she please tell us what was available. She let out a huge sigh came over and saw that the signs indicating flavours were definitely not up so she told us what was available. My husband and I both ordered ice cream in a cup. After my husband paid for our ice cream on the other side of the counter I asked if we could have spoons in order to eat our ice cream. She gave another exasperated sigh and rudely informed us that the spoons were on top of the counter. Most places that we go to the server provides you with the spoon and does not act like she is doing you a tremendous favour by telling you where to get something that she should have given to you in the first place. After this experience we definitely would not return. We like to feel that our business is appreciated. I notice from other reviews on google and trip advisor that there seems to be a problem with the staff that is hired. If they are family or friends they are not doing your business any good.More

Lonely place with original wooden floor and nice seating outdoors - but the staff were totally unfriendly, no smiles , hello or otherwise. Latte was ok and baked goods decent.

We stopped here for brunch and were not disappointed. Everything is cooked to order and is freshly baked. The quiches were delicious as were the muffins and cinnamon buns. My latte was perfect. The eggs and real bacon were super. If they have any of...the freshly baked whole wheat sour dough bread - buy some as they are so good. People and service were great.More
